Unit9 How much is it? 第1课时：（总第1课时）

课型：新授课

教学目标：

1、知识目标：

词汇：能听懂、会说、会读新单词knife，brush，notebook，ball，toy car，schoolbag。

句型：能用“Can I help you？”询问顾客需要；能用“How much is it？/It's…yuan.”等谈论物品价格。

2、能力目标：能听懂、会说Part A部分对话；能够简单描述要购买的物品并询问价格。

3、情感目标：让学生通过一场爱心义卖，不仅学习到购物时所必须的英语知识，而且培养学生的爱心同情心，增加学生的情感体验,并且与生活实际联系，在课后真正进行爱心义卖，筹得的善款捐入中青基。

教学重点：

能听懂、会说、会读新单词，并在情境中灵活运用句型。

教学难点：

单词notebook的发音及价格的数字的表达。

教学方法：

3P教学法，多媒体教学

教学准备：

PPT，DVD，单词实物，单词图片，词卡，小卡片，打印货币。

How are you？What’s the weather like today？Are you happy today？

回答得好的组可以优先选加分使用的磁扣颜色。

2.Lead in. T：“You are happy today, but there are so many children don’t feel happy, let’s watch a video.”

教师播放残疾儿童视频，揭示背景。

Step 2 Presentation 1.

Background. （1）T：There are so many disabled children in the world, so we are going to have a charity sale to help them，can you help them？

教师带同学们进入爱心义卖的情境中。

（2）T：Miss Chang has brought something to sell. What’s this?

教师首先用PPT展示第一件自己准备的义卖物品，一个书包，并让学生猜价格，引出今日关键句型，书包也是后面要播放的A课文中主人公购买的物品。

板书：How much is it? It’s______yuan. 2.Context.

T plays the video of Part A and presents the dialogue，students read after T. 老师直接播放A部分课文，因为A部分课文没有出现新单词，只有新句型，且不好一一呈现，还是在一个完整的情境中一起呈现更加自然。学生可能无法一次掌握，但是通过后续呈现的单词，每出现一个新单词就可以操练一遍全篇课文，这样学生在下课之前肯定可以掌握。

PPT展示课文对话内容，删去“Do you like this one?”这段问答，因为一是这句话不难，二是在真实的情境中每次都这样问不自然，改成后面在呈现各种球类的时候输出这句话。

3.New words.

T：Miss Chang has brought some of my things to sell. 教师准备好五个新单词的实物，作为自己爱心义卖的物品出售。

T：“The first thing is here, please listen and guess what it is? ”

教师把实物放在进行爱心义卖的抽屉里，先推动小刀制造声音让学生感知物品，再做切割动作，这时学生应该差不多知道是什么了，这时教师出示五个物品的图片，让学生选出相应图片。

教师课前准备好所有新单词的卡片，贴在黑板上，每次引出一个新单词就先读一遍，让学生通过教师的发音来寻找正确的卡片，培养学生自然拼读能力。尤其是knife这个单词，学生可能会找错，那正好提供机会来强调字母组合kn的发音。

T：“Please read after me，knife. ”

“Who wants a knife? Please say I want a knife and catch it.”

学生接住老师扔下的单词卡片并且输出句型。

通过听声音猜物品，或者是学生表演猜物品的方式，教师可以引出所有单词。

4.Sentence patterns. T：“Do you know how much it is？T shows the price to students，it's two yuan. Who wants a knife?”

T chooses a little teacher to buy the knife.T acts like a saleswoman.

T:Can I help you? Students: I want a knife, please. T pays 3

attention to the pronunciation of “want”.

T:Here you are.

Students: Thank you. How much is it?

T:It’s ten yuan.(学生用教师上一堂课通过比赛发放的打印货币来付款）。

每个商品都标好了价格。第一个单词出来，老师先扮演售货员，先对学生二次输入售货员所说句型，之后感觉学生掌握可以了之后再请学生扮演来输出。

T invites little teachers to act like the salesman.

Step 3 Practice

1.Students say the words when see the pictures on the PPT.

2.T and students ask and answer about the price.

3.Guessing game（Practice the sentence pattern）.

（1）T shows a notebook and lets students guess the price, teacher tells students the price is between 1 to 5 yuan. （2）T shows a basketball and invites a little teacher to write down the price on the ball, the price is between 90 to 100 yuan. Other students guess the price. Step 4 Production Charity sale. （1）T gives all the students three minutes to prepare. (2)T chooses one group to have a show time. 学生可以用自己的物品，也可以用老师摆在桌上的物品来进行义卖演练，老师先给三分钟时间准备，再选取其中一组进行义卖演示。

Step 5 Conclusion. T:“Thank you so much, let’s have a look at some pictures.”

教师在PPT上播放一些本学校已经进行过爱心义卖的班级图片，渲染气氛。

T：“They are the students in our school and your kindness will be spread everywhere.”

一边说教师一边在黑板上把单词图片和词卡用粉笔连成一颗心，这时PPT显示“You do, you help, you will be happy.”教师引导学生说出，并在黑板上的爱心里画上笑脸。

Step 6 Homework T：“Let’s do it together!”

布置作业，下周三请同学们带上自己打算义卖的物品，我们进行一场真实的爱心义卖，义卖钱款将捐入中青基。

T：“So much for today. It’s time to say goodbye, class is over!”
