一面闹钟、单词卡片、多媒体等。

四、教学步骤

Step 1 Warming up

Step 2 Presentation and drill

1、The teacher took out a clock

T: What’s this?

Ss: It’s a clock. (The teacher helped the students to answer)

T: teach the new word “clock” .(Show the courseware)

Ask the students to see the clock, review 1-10 numbers. 2、Watch and listen the clock, please.(Point to the 7 point on the clock) T: What time is it?

(板书课题）

Ss：It’s seven o’clock. (帮助学生回答) Writing and teaching new words: clock, o’clock, time, please。

Teaching new sentence patterns by courseware：

“What time is it?”

“It’s … o’clock.”(Repeated practice)

3、Game——Quick response （快速反应）

教师将闹钟拨到不同的时间，学生用最快的速度回答，看谁反应最快。

T: What’s the time? S: It’s one/four/five/ten/…o’clock.

And then let the students play the game with their own alarm clock model。
