Unit 7 Is this an orange?

教学目标: 1. 学习水果单词: banana, lemon, orange, apple, pear. 2.能运用这些单词进行句型操练, “ Is this a /an...? ”询问水果的名称, 并做出肯定或否定的回答,培养学生的听说读写能力。

3.让学生学会大胆地使用英语进行交际, 培养学生的合作精神和创新能力。

教学重点: 掌握水果单词, 运用句型“ Is this a /an...? ”操练单词, 并做肯定和否定的回答: “ Yes ,it is./ No ,it isn’t.”

教学难点: 区别a/an的用法

教学准备: 白板、课件、单词图片

教法: 1. 情境教学法. 2. 游戏教学法.

学法: 1. 合作交流. 2. 自主探究.

教学步骤:

Step 1 Warming up

Sing an English song .

Step 2 Presentation and drill.

1.Today we are going to learn “ Unit 7 Is this an orange? ”

2.show the ppt

T: I will introduce something interesting for you. Are you ready ? Ss: Yes.

3、T : This is my market, and what can you see in this market?

4、Show a picture of an apple.

T: apple, apple, 苹果。

Ss: (follow the teacher)

T : OK, let us write it down together. Show your finger with me.

Use the same method to teach the following words: banana, pear, lemon, orange

5、Words practice.

a. Ask some students to read the word individually.

b. Read the words in groups.

c. Game:high and low voice by using the cards.

6. Magic eyes: find the fruit that is missing. If you know the answer, please stand up and tell me loudly.

7. Let ’ s chant.

Step 3 Sentence pattern

1.Guessing game:

T: What is this? Is this an orange? If I ask you is this a banana, you can answer...?

Ss: Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t.

Encourage students to say more sentences by moving the ball that covers the fruit.

2.Listening: Listen to part A and circle the words of fruit.

3.Listen and imitate.

4.Work in groups to read part A,then act it out.

Step 4 Extension

1.An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

2.Homework: make fruit cards.
