1>. T show pictures(about people’s looks) to teach new words. And write new words on the blackboard. By the way, lead in new sentences.

2>. Ss pair-work. T show pictures about students’

looks. After Ss read new words one by one, Ss do pair-work like this:

A: Look at picture 1. What does he/she look like?

B: He/She is tall/short of medium height... 3>. For1a. Match the words with the pictures[a-h]. and pay attention to use some letters more than once . Ss Read words together. Then check answers like this:

Look at picture a, he has short hair.

Look at picture b h ,they are tall. 4>. Listening practice for 1b.

Before listening, T show pictures,tell Ss who is Amy?What does Amy look like? Then explain what we will do in this listening and play the first hearing. Then listen second time, make sure the answers are right.

After listening check answer like this:

Let Ss use pictures in 1a make conversation and talk about their height build hair. Then make conversation
