Knowledge aims: Ss can learn four-skill words: double,festival,show,fold,wish ; Ss can collectly use sentence patterns: What shall we do for them ?

;Ss can understand the dialogue and act it out. 3.

T ask :When is Double Ninth Day? Do you know?
S1 answer : It’s September 10th.
T ask: Do you know something about Double Ninth Day? First ,
let’s listen to the tape and try to answer my questions.
1.What are they talking about? 2.What is it for? T gets Ss to know the dialogue simply Second, listen to the tape again,and answer detail queations.
1.What shall we do for the old people?
2.How many steps are there in making cards? Ss take out their things ,and follow the teacher to make cards. while doing, Ss learn to say : show ,fold, wishes. (T 板书) Ss make cards together while saying steps. T:
You’re great! Wonderful. Next,please open your books,read after the tape,pay

attention to your pronunciation. Read the gialogue again,and try to cirle words and phrases you can’t understand while reading. Ss co-operate to learn new words and phrases,and T chooses and writes them on the Bb. Ss read them together. T: in Lesson 1, there’s a sentence like this: Why not…? Can you find it? Can you make sentences like it? Ss make similar sentences.
T stresses
it’s the key sentence pattern. Step 4 :Consolitation and Practise 1.
Fill in the blanks with the proper forms of words given. 2.
Choose your favourite festival, and make up dialogues with your parterner , then act it them in front of your class. Step 5 :Homework 1.
Copy the new words and sentences. 2.
