一、教学材料
Father’s Hobby
My dad works from Monday to Friday in a bank. he uses the computer to count money. His job is very important in the bank. Dad is also busy at home. At weekends he cooks dinner. Usually he cooks Italian food. On Sundays he makes five pieces of pizza. Sometimes he cooks chicken and makes Chinese food. My mum watches and helps him. I help my dad, too. I wash the dishes. Many people think it is strange for a man to cook. But my dad enjoys his hobby. Cooking relaxes him. He is a weekend cook. 二、设计理念
围绕“爸爸的爱好”这个话题,进行阅读教学。通过chant、录音、图片等多种形式,创设贴近实际的真实语境,增强学生在语境中的理解能力。同时运用小组合作、竞赛等方式帮助完成本科的语言知识,并在教学中注意阅读教学的层次性,注重培养学生阅读技巧和方法的培养。
二、教学目标
1、能听懂、会说、会读新单词bank、important 、Italian food 、strange 、enjoys 及短语count monkey 、weekeed cook。
2、学会准确运用单三人称动词的表达形式,v+s。
3、能用英语表达和交流自己或他人的兴趣爱好。
4、提高学生的快速阅读、略读、精读、合作读等一些阅读技巧和阅读方法,培养学生阅读兴趣,增强学生的阅读能力。
5、通过本文阅读,了解爸爸的爱好,让学生善于观察生活中有意思的趣事,促进学生培养有益的兴趣爱好。

五、教学过程
Step 1 warming up Greeting(T:Boys and girls!It’s time for English.Are you ready? Good afternoon class. How are you?) Let’s chant “I have a pen pal”
[ 设计意图 ]教师通过与学生的简单英语问候,使学生快速进入学习状态。并用一首相关的chant,激发学生的学习兴趣,让学生以饱满的热情投入学习。
Step 2 Presentation

T:I also have a pen pal,she is a girl.listen and tell you what do you know abou him.(listen a passage bout “my pen pal”two times) students take about Amy,according they listened. Use “she is …” “her name is …” “she likes …”

[设计意图]通过听力,让学生在听的过程中迅速抓去信息,并通过人称的变换转述自己所听的,在表达过程中由第一人称变换成第三人称,巩固单三人称动词的表达方式。
Amy likes reading books,and that is my hobby too.you know in my family ,my mum has many hobbies .look,what is mum’s hobby?(show mum’s picture) In this picture students can find maybe mum likes…,maybe she likes likes,may she likes ….T should ask how do they know? 【设计意图】通过图片导出妈妈的爱好,具有多个答案的照片,手里拿钱,是否就是爱钱,答案是妈妈在银行上班,由坐在一叠书上,导出妈妈喜欢读书,通过妈妈胖胖的身体,导出妈妈爱吃。在此过程中既讲解了新单词bank,strang,pizza,Italian,同时为课文的阅读做了铺垫。
Why is mum fat? Why does she like eating? read the passage “father’s hobby”first time. 解决“why does mum likes eating?”通过阅读学生了解了原因,“because father likes cooking.”
So father is a cook,right? read this passage second time 解决“where does father work?what does he do?”
【设计意图】在快速阅读过程中,学生自己解决问题,了解学生对本段阅读短文的理解和掌握程度,初步掌握本短文的文意。
read again,circle the difficult word,and write down them on the blackboard. 【设计意图】在学生的理解文意的过程中,往往新单词是最大的障碍,通过自己找新单词,写在黑板上,师生共同解决的过程,其实就是对文意进一步理解的过程。在解决新单词的过程,可让学生先自行解决,确实有困难再由老师讲解,培养学生自主学习的能力。
Step 3 Practice and consolidation 1.Read in groups ,and ask question,let other groups answer.every group can ask two questions,and T divided these questions into 3 kinds,20 points,30 points and 40 points,according the degree of difficulty,let students answer them quickly in 3 minuts. 【设计意图】学生小组合作,在合作阅读的过程中,提出问题,写下自己的问题,老师根据问题的难易度将问题分成三类,20分,30分,40分,共同来快速抢答,其实就是检验学生对本文的深入理解程度。

【设计意图】动笔书写,对学生的动笔书写能力的培训,同时是进一步检查学生的理解能力,同时这些问题的设计是根据写爱好的一般过程来设计的,通过这些问题,老师提炼出关键单词,为下步学生的口语表达做铺垫。

Step4 Extension and sum-up
talk about your father mother or friends’hobby,according the key words information. 【设计意图】根据关键性的词语,what 、when、how、who、where,学生口语表述自己家人或朋友的爱好,是对学生口语表达能力的培养,同时也为学生家庭作业的书写打下基础。
Step 5 Homework
Write a passage aboutyour family’s or friend’s hobby. 【设计意图】这份作业意在让学生巩固并扩展本课所学知识,并通过作业的设置,让学生在完成过程中,增进与家人、朋友的了解,有发现的眼光去观察身边人有益的爱好,促进学生培养自己健康的兴趣爱好。
