Spring is warm(课时一)
教学目标
(1)能听懂、会读、会说和拼写单词四会单词:weather ,spring, summer, autumn, winter.
(2)能在图片的帮助下运用重点句型“I like spring . Spring is warm. It’s clod in winter.” 描述四季及天气。能够使用句型What’s the weather like…?
进行语言交际。并能由此拓展进行交流。

理解并区分“What’s the weather like today?”和“What’s the weather like in spring/autumn/…?”的含义,并正确回答。

Step 1 Warming up

唱歌曲“新四季歌”(让学生进入学习英语的状态。)

⒋ A game ——Magic ears and quick response(顺风耳的快速反应)
老师轻声说单词(the weather, cold , hot , warm ,cool , sunny ,rainy ,cloudy, windy ,snowy )一学生大声说出单词,另两学生迅速找出此单词粘帖到小黑板上,速度快的获胜。
Step 2 Presentation and drill

老师表示出很热的样子,T:Oh , look at Miss Li , What’s the weather like ?
S: It’s hot.
T:
I like hot days . I can eat ice cream and I can swim.
Ask some to act and ask: What’s the weather like? The others answer and say: I like…. days I can…. or I don’t like … days. I can’t …
让学生们各抒己见,谈谈对天气的喜好。

T: Ok ,boys and girls ,sometimes the weather is warm, sometimes the weather is cool, sometimes it is hot, and sometimes is cold . The weather is different in a year, Why? Because there are four seasons in a year. They are spring, summer, autumn and winter . (

帮助学生理解season的含义。

教授单词spring (开小火车朗读单词,
用手笔画单词。)

教授单词summer (两人一组朗读单词,
用手笔画单词。)
T:
It’s hot in summer . I like summer. I can eat ice cream and I can swim in summer. What about you?

C 出示与秋天有关的图片
教授单词autumn (横排为单位朗读单词,用手笔画单词。)
T:
What’s the weather like in autumn .
Ss: It’s cool.
T: Yes. Autumn is cool and nice.
D 出示冬天的图片
教授单词winter (竖排为单位朗读单词,用手笔画单词。)
T:What’s the weather like in winter.
Ss: It’s cold in winter.
T: Do you like it? Why?
Ss: …。
3、练习:
T: “let’s sing a song now, it’s very easy. Would you like to sing it?
S: “YES”
跟唱儿歌《新四季歌》

A game ----Find the friend (找朋友)
a 老师说季节的单词spring , summer ,autumn ,winter ,学生回答天气单词warm and nice ,hot ,cool ,cold 。或者老师说天气单词,学生说季节单词。
b CAI展示不同服饰,然后出现季节图片,学生选择。
A game——Guess, guess, guess !
(猜一猜)
Which season is it?
CAI展示不同季节里人们的反映,学生猜一猜是哪一个季节,并运用句型It’s … . I like /I
don’t like …。
I / We can … .老师可先做示范以引导。
Who is the best actor?
教师学生模仿季节里人们做的事情做出各种动作,Ask “Which season is it ?”其他学生回答“It’s spring/… .It’s warm and nice /…。I like /I don’t like …。”
评出最佳表演奖,最佳创意奖。
5.展示A部分对话,跟读。
Step3. Practice and Consolidation
A. Listen and guess
T: It’s beautiful. There are many flowers .It’s warm and nice.
Ss:
T: Sometimes the house is white. The tree and grass are white.
Everything is white.
Ss: …
T: We can go to swim .We can eat ice cream, but it’s very hot .
4. 老师可先任选两个季节描述,让学生猜。引导学生仿照描述其他季节,另外的学生作出猜测。
B. T: The weather is different in different seasons.
Spring is warm and nice. It’s beautiful. It’s green.
Summer is hot and wet. It’s bright.
Autumn is cool and nice. It’s golden.
Winter is cold. It’s white.
Which season do you like? Who likes spring /summer/autumn/winter.
C. Let the Ss choose their favorite season and make a group.
T: Talk about your favorite season. At least three sentences. (
e g . I like…It is… I can … )
D. Act out.
