Unit 7 Is this an orange?

Teaching aims:

1、能听懂、会说、认读单词an apple, a banana, a pear, a lemon, an orange。

2、掌握语言结构:Is this…?

Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t.

3、情感目标:多吃水果有益身心健康。An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Key points:

能听懂、会说、认读单词apple, banana, pear, lemon, orange, 并能用句型“Is this…”询问水果名称并简单作答。

Difficult points:

orange这个单词既可以作水果名称,又可以作颜色单词。冠词a/an 学生容易混淆。

Teaching preparation:

课前准备好上课所涉及的水果,并请学生带好至少一种水果。

Teaching Steps:

Step 1 Warming up

1. Greetings

T: Good afternoon, boys and girls.

Ss: Good afternoon, Miss Chen.

T: I’m glad to see you again.

Ss: I’m glad to see you again, too.

T: How are you?

Ss: I’m fine, thanks. And you?

T: I’m fine, too. Thank you. Sit down pls.

2. Revision (show ppt)

T: First, let’s have fun. Pls see the pics and use “Is it…” to guess, ok? Ss: Ok.

T: Look! What’s it?

S1: Is it a balloon?

T: Yes, it is.

T: Look at this picture. What’s this?

S2: Is it a pencil?

T: Yes, it is.

T: Now, pls listen and guess. What’s it?

S1: Is it a …?

T: The monkey and the elephant like fruit. Do you like fruit? (教授fruit) Ss: Yes.

T: Ok, let’s go to the fruit market. (教授market)

Step 2 Presentation and drill

1. T: Look! What’s this?

(引导学生说出)Ss: It’s a n orange.

T(出示卡片和磁条):orange, orange, an orange, an orange.

Ss: orange, orange, an orange, an orange.

Single practice (4 Ss) →boys together→girls together

T(出示实物):Is it an orange? (引出标题)

Ss:Yes, it is.

T: What colour is this orange?

Ss: It’s orange.

T: Look! The T-shirt is orange. The balloon is orange, too.

2. T: What’s this?

Ss: It’s an apple.

T(出示卡片和磁条):apple, apple, an apple, an apple.(注意a的发音) Ss: apple, apple, an apple, an apple.

Single practice (4 Ss) →boys and girls together

T(出示实物):Is it an orange, too?

Ss: No, it isn’t.

T板书句子“No, it isn’t.”

T: Is it an apple?

Ss: Yes, it is.

3. 同样的方式教授banana, lemon, pear。

Drill way: group by group, two by two…

4. Ask Ss to close their eyes and listen how many fruits they hear.

1.Touch and guess.一名同学蒙眼猜水果,用“Is this …?”其余同学回答.

2.Look and guess.(看花猜果)
