Unit8 Lingling helps her parents 第一课时

一、教学目标

(一)语言目标

1.词汇:能听懂、会说、认读、会写新单词和短语make the bed,iron the clothes ,clean the windows,cook a meal,wash the vegetables,water the plants。

2.句型:学会运用“what do you do at home?”以及答句“I help my mother / I water the plants.”

(二)应用目标

1.学会应用句子进行对话

二、教学重、难点

单词:iron the clothes 中的“iron”对于五年级的小学生来说是一个生词,重点讲,教他们读。“water the plants”中的“water”之前学的是“水”的意思,现在在词组中是一个动词“浇水”的意思

句子:能做到脱口而出。

三、教学准备

单词和词组图片、单词和短语卡片、ppt课件。

四、教学过程

Step1:Warm-up& lead -in 1.Greetings Good morning , boys and girls . Nice to meet to you! How are you? First ,before our class , we have a dictation .please take your dictation book.(上课之前,我们先来听写上个单元的单词,拿出你们的听写本。) Are you ready? 2.Dictation 听写unit7的单词:get up,go to bed,computer lesson,PE,art,music,maths. 句型:what time do you get up? ——

I get up at 6:00. T: Look! Do you know him? (哆啦A梦的图片)

Ss: 哆啦A梦

T: Yeah, he has some trouble, he wants your help. Do you want to help him? Ss: yeah! T: Da xiong is too lazy. So doraemon must help him to do something . now ,you are a helper of doraemon.(大雄的图片)

Presentation&Practice

T: This is da xiong’s room.(一个很乱的房间),da xiong ‘s room is very dirty, his parents is criticizing him.(大雄爸爸妈妈的图片)

(1)学习单词“parents”

T:ok,who are they?

Ss:大雄的爸爸妈妈

T:

yeah!they are da xiong’s parents . Reade after me”parents”

who can tell me parents what’s meaning? Ss: 爸爸妈妈

T:Yes! Parents means” mother and father”

是爸爸妈妈的的总称。因为爸爸妈妈是两个所以要加“s”,so , parents. read after me “parents”(this group read it one by one) Read the title, ready go “Lingling helps her parents”(带读2遍) (this group read one by one)

利用图片教动词短语make the bed T:What is this?(床铺)

Ss:it’s bed. T: How to say 整理床铺?

S:(make the bed ,或许会保持沉默,就需要老师说出来。)

T:

we can say “make the bed”. 教师带读make→the bed→make the bed →I make the bed. T: This group read it one by one. (同时出示单词卡片,并多叫几组同学操练)

T:What do you do at home? Ss: I make the bed. T: So, you help your mother, yes?

Ss: Yes. T: Again. What do you do at home? Ss: I make the bed. I help my mother. (接下来叫一组同学操练句型,老师问,同学答,然后就是两组同学,一组问一组答。)

T: Do you know how to say “整理书包”?(make the bag)

[设计意图] 目的是为了让学生活学活用。

(3)利用图片教动词短语iron the clothes T:出示一张图片(衣服不平整),提问What should I do?

S: 熨一下

T: We can iron the clothes.

T: “熨烫”we can say “iron”. “衣服”how to say? So, “熨烫衣服”we can say “iron the clothes”.“熨烫T桖衫”→“iron the T-shirt”

教师带读iron→the clothes→iron the clothes→I iron the clothes. T: This group read it one by one. (同时出示单词卡片,并多叫几组同学操练)

T:What do you do at home? Ss: I iron the clothes. I help my mother. (接下来叫一组同学操练句型,老师问,同学答,然后就是两组同学,一组问一组答。)

(4)利用图片教动词短语clean the windows T:出示一张图片(脏的玻璃图片),提问what ‘s this?

Ss: This is windows. T: it is very dirty, is’t they? Ss: yes, T: so we should clean it. How to say “擦窗户”

Ss:(不知道或者由老师自己回答。)

T: “擦”we can say “clean”(把…弄干净),“窗户”→“the windows”,“把窗户擦干净”→“clean the windows”, “把教室打扫干净”→“clean the classroom 教师带读clean→the windows→clean the windows→I clean the windows. T: This group read it one by one. (同时出示单词卡片,并多叫几组同学操练)

T:What do you do at home? Ss: I clean the windows. I help my mother. (接下来叫一组同学操练句型,老师问,同学答,然后就是两组同学,一组问一组答。)

(5)利用图片教动词短语cook a meal T: Oh, I am hungry. could you give me some food? Are you hungry? Ss:

(yes or no) T: I want to eat my doraemon 's meal(出示大餐的图片,含有蔬菜的图片。)

T:I think it’s very delicious. we can say it is a meal (出示a meal 的图片。)read after me. meal 、a meal、cook a meal.

(出示cook a meal 的图片。) T: This group read it one by one. (同时出示单词卡片,并多叫几组同学操练)

T:What do you do at home? Ss: I cook a meal. I help my mother. (接下来叫一组同学操练句型,老师问,同学答,然后就是两组同学,一组问一组答。)

(6)利用图片教动词短语wash the vegetables T: In this big meal, I like vegetables best T:when we eat Vegetables ,we should wash it. yes or no?(呈现蔬菜的图片)

Ss:yes! T: but , how to say 洗蔬菜?

Ss:(?老师解答wash the vegetables.)

T: read after me. wash、vegetables. T: This group read it one by one. (同时出示单词卡片,并多叫几组同学操练)

T:What do you do at home? Ss: I wash the vegetables. I help my mother. (接下来叫一组同学操练句型,老师问,同学答,然后就是两组同学,一组问一组答。)

(7)利用图片教动词短语water the plants

T:

after a meal, I wan to drink a water. So , doraemon

prepare a glass of water for me.

But this letter “water”

也可以用作动词哦!for example:water the plants.

T:what is the meaning of plants?

Who can tell me ? Ss: 浇灌植物

T:very good ! water the plants means 浇灌植物。

T: read after me. water、plants.(操练单词water和plants .one by one.)

T: This group read it one by one. (同时出示单词卡片,并多叫几组同学操练)

T:What do you do at home? Ss: I water the vegetables. I help my mother. (接下来叫一组同学操练句型,老师问,同学答,然后就是两组同学,一组问一组答。)

Step 3: Consolidation &Extension game:①watch and speak(看口形说动词短语)

老师做口形让学生根据老师的口型说出动词短语

②magic eyes.(复习之前所学的单词和词组。)

在游戏之前,老师再一次带读所学单词,每个单词读两遍,老师随机点几个词组,让学生认读。让学生熟悉词组。

游戏规则:老师利用ppt快速闪烁单词和词组,单词和词组打乱着出现。请学生站起来说出出现的单词。

③pass on a message传话

全班每一纵排为一组,全班分成若干组。教师分别发给每一组最后一排的学生一张纸,上面写一句今天所学的句子,在教师说“开始”后,最后一排的学生即用耳语把纸上的话告诉前面的学生,这位学生再把听到的话告诉前面的学生…这样依次进行下去。第一排的学生把所传的话写到黑板上或说出来,传得最快,最准确的组获胜。

Step4:Assessment T: Today we have learned some new phrases. I hope you can remember them and help your parents do housework. Now let's see which group is the best.

T: I think in this this group did a very good job. Let's give them big hands.
