一、教学目标

1、能听懂、会说新单词China, Canada, France, Australia,the UK, the USA。

2、能听懂、会说Where are you from ? I’m from.../ I come from…；并能运用所学句型进行简单交流。

二、教学重点、难点

难点：

1、认读、识记单词China, Canada, France, Australia,the UK, the USA。

2、理解并运用句型：Where are you from ?

I’m from.../ I come from…

重点：

能熟练地使用句型Where are you from ?

I’m from.../ I come from …进行简单交流。

三、教学准备

单词卡片（China, Canada, France, Australia,the UK, the USA）、各国小国旗、地图、CAI课件

四、教学过程

Step 1. Warming-up 1、Greetings 2、Guessing game:

教师做出“投篮”、“射门”的动作，引导学生猜出“playing basketball”和“playing football”。既对已学旧识进行了简单回顾，又为新课呈现环节做铺垫。

T：Do you like playing basketball? Do you like playing football? Ss: Yes, I do. T: Great! Today we are going to attend an International Games. Are you ready? Ss: Go! Step 2. Presentation and drill （一）New words and sentences

1、Lead-in T: First, let’s watch the parade. （教师播放运动员入场式视频，让学生初步感知新单词，并实现自主学习）。

2、学习China和句型

①（出示中国队入场图片）T: Where are they from? 引导学生自己说出China。教师板书China，学生书空。

② T: Where are you from?，引导学生说出“I’m from China.”（PPT呈现句型）,带读两遍。课件呈现“I come from China.”，引导学生初步了解和运用。

拿出中国国旗，分组询问学生“Where are you from?”,让学生操练“I’m from China.”。学生作答后给予红旗奖励。

④

欣赏中国名胜和传统文化，激发爱国情怀。

T: China is beautiful. Let’s say it proudly-- I’m from China! Ss: I’m from China. 3、学习the UK ①（出示英国队入场图）T: Let’s welcome this team. Where are they from? 引导学生回答the UK。

② PPT呈现the United Kingdom和the UK，帮助学生理解the UK的缩写变化。

拿出英国国旗，分组询问“Where’re you from?”，引导学生操练“I’m from the UK.”。在输出过程中，注意引导学生表达完整，当学生说出“I’m from UK.”时及时指正。

学习了解英国文化。

4、学习the USA 教师用同样方法教授the USA，注意the UK和the USA的对比。

5、学习Canada ①（出示加拿大队入场图）T: Where are they from? Let’s ask them.（引导学生一起说：Hello, where are you from?）

（PPT呈现文本和音频）：I’m from Canada. ②

学生跟读音频，掌握Canada的发音，教师适当指正。

教师下位指生读、对话。

欣赏加拿大风光。

6、学习France ①（出示法国队入场图）T: Where are they from?Are they from the UK?（引导学生自己说：Hello, where are you from?）

（PPT呈现文本和音频）：I’m from France. ②

学生先跟读音频，学习France。教师利用自然拼读法引导学生自主拼读。

③ Magic finger：学生根据教师给出的数字，复读France。

感知法国文化。

7、学习Australia ①（出示澳大利亚队入场图）Ss：Hello, where are you from? （PPT呈现文本和音频）：I’m from Australia. ②

学生先跟读音频，学习Australia。教师利用自然拼读法引导学生自主拼读，重点强调str的组合发音。

请学生轮流读单词。

感知澳大利亚风土人情。

（二）Drill 1、T: Let’s review the words. 教师出示小国旗并询问“Where are you from?”，学生根据国旗回答“I’m from...”。之后教师将国旗粘贴在世界地图上的相应国家位置。

2、Chant 第一遍，全班一起chant：Canada、France、Australia。（这三个单词难度相对较大，因此全班操练，教师及时指正）。

第二遍，请三个小组分别chant：China、the UK和the USA。

3、Game：升国旗

邀请学生两两PK，动画中升起哪面国旗就说出哪个国家，看谁读得又快又准。

4、Basketball Game 进行名为“投篮”的趣味练习，学生根据所给单词选择对应的国旗。此练习考察学生对国家单词的识记和对对应国旗的认识。

（三）Dialogue

1、（PPT呈现课文中的六位主人公）T: Mingming and Anne are in an International Camp, they have some new friends here. Who are they? 学习课文中的人物姓名，为下文学习做铺垫。

2、Listen and tick ①

听音打钩，根据所听到的内容给下列人物选择对应的国家。

②

检验答案，请学生用“She/ He is from...”回答所听到的内容。

3、Listen and read 听音跟读课文。

4、Read and act 给课文配音并表演。

Step 3. Practice

Free talk You are in a International camp, how to introduce yourself?

如果你在国际营中，你会如何介绍自己？选择自己喜欢的国家，与组员相互交流。

Step 4. Consolidation 1、Football Game 进行名为“射门”的趣味练习，学生根据所给国家选择与之相关的国家文化、名胜等图片。此练习考察学生对国家单词的识记和对对应国家文化的了解，以拓宽知识面。

2、Summary：“You and me, from one world. We are family.”

你和我，来自同一个世界，我们是相亲相爱一家人。
