【教材及学情分析】

5AU3这一单元是主要学习运动与健康的关系。对于运动,学生都比较感兴趣。学生对课文中一些常见的运动都很熟悉,如football, basketball, tennis, ping pong等。鉴于本单元中sport,

sometimes,

usually 是课标词汇,所以要教会、教透。Week这一单词学生在4BU9GT中已学过,所以本单元可以不教。还有health,

healthy,

gym,skateboard四个单词是非小学课标词汇,因而学生只要会识读、理解意义即可。确立以Julia一家人为主线人物贯穿三个课时,描述Julia一家人的运动生活,主题是Sports and Health子话题是

A Healthy Family,

How often do we do sports ?和Sports make us healthy. 通过情景,引导学生由浅入深地、分步完成教学任务,让学生在学习中懂得运动的乐趣。

本节课所教学的语法是“一般现在时”。对于这个句型学生在以前已接触过,但学得不够扎实,还存在很多的问题。特别是部分中下水平的学生对第三人称的表述还不够熟练,经常会在行为动词后忘加s或es 。因此,在这单元中充分利用好学生感兴趣的题材,反复让学生操练,重点放在不同人称、不同句式的操练上,通过操练巩固一般现在时的各种句式。
