一、教学目标：

1. 语言知识目标：

(1) 能掌握以下单词：curly, straight, tall, medium, thin, heavy,height,be of medium height。

(2)能掌握以下句型：

—What does he look like?

—She has long straight hair. —Is he tall or short？

2. 情感态度价值观目标：

让学生学会友好、客观地描述人的形象。

掌握单词，熟练掌握描述人的形象的句型。

2. 教学难点：

掌握描述人的形象的句型。

三、教学过程

每课三分钟:马云虽然个子不高，也不英俊。但是他创造了太多的奇迹。淘宝，阿里巴巴，支付宝等都是他的旗下品牌。好看的外表千篇一律，有趣的灵魂万一挑一。不要以貌取人。

Ⅰ. Lead-in 1.By looking at a video to import different people with different looks. 2.Learn new words：curly, straight, tall, medium, thin, heavy,height,be of medium height

II. Presentation

1.T:look at the screen,what does he look like？

S:He is tall. Look at this woman,what does she look like？

S:She is short. T：Look at this man,what does he look like？

S:He is of medium height. T:look at this girl,what does she look like? S：she has short straight black hair. ... 2.

Fill in the blanks according to the first letter. Give them two minutes to think about,then ask students to answer. 3.

Give three pictures,let them describe their looks. 4.

Discussion Give them two minutes to discuss these question,Then ask students to summarize. （1）Ask about the sentence structure of someone’s appearance.

（2）Ask about the sentence structure that describes someone’s physical looks.

Listen to the dialogue of 1b again and try to find the sentence pattern for asking people’s appearance and the sentences for describing people.
