Step I

Warm-up and revision（课堂热身和复习）

Ask students following questions: 1.Do you like animals? 2.What animal do you like ?Why?（play video）

Step II Show a picture of an elephant ,ask students to describe the elephant using the given words. Step III 1.Read the article for the first time and find out the topic sentence of each paragraph. 2.Read for the second time, this time read the paragraph of the article one by one, and answer some questions.(play video,the paper fox went back to his home.Thailand’

students did some activities to save elephants,we belive the elephant will go back to their homes. 3. Read the article again（listen to the tape）,complete the mind map.

4.Retell the article using the mind map. Four students in a group ,each student describe one point of elephant .Then choose one student in a group to retell the article. Step IV After reading the whole article ,ask students to chose a best title for it.
