教学流程

I.

Pre-task preparation: Listening to the song “Kongfu fighting”, sing and dance with it. Then lead naturally to the topic. T: What can you see from the song? Ss: Kongfu. T: Today I bring you a new friend. He is a Kongfu star. Who is he? Ss: Kongfu Panda. Then the teacher plays the introduction of Po. Show Po’s friends---tiger, monkey and snake as single forms(By using riddles). Then play the story between Panda and Peacock. The peacock wants to have friends. So he catches Po and his friends. Finish 3 tasks and help them.

While-task procedure: Task I

Quick Eyes Hide part of the animals and ask students “What are they?”

Ss: They are monkeys. Read the chant for monkeys. Then do the similar activities as tigers and bees.(Sing a song and make a poem)

Listen to the Ipad and then answer the question. 1.

What are they? 2.

What do they look like? 3.

What can they do? 4.

What do they eat?(Explain “eat” and let students read the sentence in pairs.)

Tell students the rules when they use the Ipad. 1. Read after the Ipad.

Let students stick the pictures on the paper for 1 minute.(Give the teacher a gesture when they finish.) 2.

Play the guessing game among the class. (Four students a group,each student says a sentence and after that, let their classmates guess the animals they have.) 5.

Post-task procedure: Students pass the game so the peacock let the panda and his friends go but he becomes lonely again. So the panda decides to make friends with the peocock. They have a happy ending. T: So animals are friendly. We should also be friendy to people around us. Watch a video to feel the harmony among animals. IV.

Homework: You can choose 1 from them:（二选一）

1. 跟你的小伙伴介绍你最喜欢的动物。

2. 配音一段英文版功夫熊猫电影片段。
