Today is Saturday Period

一.教学目标:

1.能听、说、认读单词Sunday,Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,

Thursday,Friday,Saturday,today,tomorrow。

2.能理解并复述A部分课文内容。

3.能正确表述今天是星期几。

二.教学重点、难点:

1.重点:听、说、认读单词Sunday,Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,

Thursday,Friday,Saturday,today,tomorrow。

2.难点:能正确表述今天是星期几。

三.教前准备:

一个笑脸面具,一幅日历,一个生日蛋糕,一根蜡烛,一个打火机,单词卡片(星期一至星期五),教学挂图,教学磁带。

四.教学过程:

Step 1

热身复习

1.师生问候。

2.复习单词running,swimming,skipping,playing basketball,

playing table tennis…

Step 2

新知呈现

1.教师出示笑脸面具。

T:I'm happy today.Do you know why? 鼓励学生大胆猜测。然后出示插有蜡烛的生日蛋糕。

T:Today is my birthday.(出示标记了当天日期的日历)What day is it today?

Sunday,Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday,Friday or Saturday?

Ss:It's…. T:Yes,today is….It's my birthday. 板书单词Sunday,Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday,

Saturday和birthday,带读。

2.点燃生日蜡烛。

学生唱生日歌,教师许愿,吹灭蜡烛。

T:I'm so happy today.(出示笑脸面具)Are you happy? S1:Yes. T:S1 is happy.Are you happy,S2? S2:Yes. T:S2 is happy, too. 3.播放PPT。

操练巩固

1.游戏——Quick response(快速反应)。

教师说今天星期几,学生快速说出明天星期几;教师说明天星期几,

学生说今天星期几,看谁反应快。

3.听课文A部分录音,跟读。

4.同桌互相练习,复述课文。

1.让学生们抽取星期卡片,讲述Peter的一天。

1.听磁带,背课文,记单词。
