Is this an orange? 教材：湖南少年儿童出版社三年级下册第八单元

教学目标：

1.能听懂、会说三个表示水果的词语：apple, lemon, banana, orange。

2.能初步运用句型“Is this a...?”询问水果名称并灵活运用句型“Yes, it is./No, it isn't.”来作出回答。

3.培养学习英语的兴趣，在表达和交流中体会学习的快乐。

教学重点和难点：

重点：掌握四个水果的英文单词，并能用“Is this a/an …?“进行询问，做肯定和否定的回答。

难点：能初步运用句型“Is this a/an...?”询问水果名称并回答。

教学准备：

有关水果的单词、图片、实物、头饰，多媒体课件。

教学过程：

Step 1. Warming up 1.

Greetings. 2.

Enjoy a song: Apple tree. 3.

Lead-in:用课件呈现市场图片，让学生看部分猜整体，引出market，并练习。

T：Let’s go to the fruit market. 进入水果词汇的教学。

Step2. Presentation and drill

一、New words and new sentence pattern. 1、单词教学。

1) apple

多媒体出示苹果图片，问：

①T；What’s this？

Ss：It’s an apple. T：Apple, apple, it is an(重读) apple. ②板书并带读新单词，小组比赛读，集体读。

③出示苹果卡片,并利用卡片进行师生配合。

T: Apple, apple.(教师举着苹果图片引导读)

Ss: Apple, apple.

T: Is this an apple?

Ss: Yes, it is(做一些水果头饰，当学生回答正确时，奖励相应的水果头饰;引导学生回答并板书Yes, it is.本句型结构是本课的难点，从现在开始学习句型便于学生反复操练)

2) banana

①T: What’s this?

（出示香蕉的一部分，让学生猜一猜，引出单词banana.）

Ss: It’s a banana.

把香蕉图片贴在单词边

②板书并带读新单词。“建房子”练习读。

T: Banana, banana, it’s a banana.(强调中间a的发音) ③T: Is this a banana?

Ss: No, it isn’t. (句型穿插在单词学习中，引导学生回答并板书No, it isn’t.)

(带领学生反复操练，教师说前半句，学生说后半句。) 3) lemon ①T: What’s this?

请学生尝一尝，露出皱眉头的模样。

②板书并带读新单词，把柠檬图片贴在单词边。“弹钢琴”练读。

③T: Is this a lemon?

Ss: No, it isn’t.

4) orange ①T: Today I'm so happy, so I bring a gift for you. Who want to touch it?

引出单词orange，个别读，纠正发音。

②板书orange，并带读单词。小组比赛读。

2、巩固单词：Play a game---- Little spy。

3、学习句型“Is this a/an …?”

①学习句型“Is this a/an...?”打拍子练习此句型。课件出示两个句子，分组问答。

②猜猜老师最喜欢的水果。学生运用句型“Is this a/an...?”问老师。

③请学生上台拿出自己最爱的水果图片，其他学生提问。

4、巩固句型：Play a game---- Magic eyes。

5.学习对话。

T：Lingling and Mingming are in the market. They are talking about fruits. What are they? Let’s listen to the dialogue and answer the questions.

(1)Listen and answer.

③ Is this a classroom？

(2)Read and act

练习两分钟后小组上台表演表演对话。

Step 3 Consolidation 1、Let's

Chant. 2、情感教育：An apple a day keeps the doctor away(常吃水果，有益健康。) 3. HomeworkRead the new words and Part A (读新单词和A部分）. Make the fruit card.（制作水果卡片）

Step4. Ending
