Step 1

情景导入

展示一张本城市或乡镇街道的图片，教授表示方位的介词：near，on，across from，in front of，next to，behind，between等。

环节说明：结合本地的街道图，教授一些常见的表示方位的单词，激发学生说英语的热情，活跃课堂气氛，轻松自如地导入本单元话题，让学生更好地理解和掌握表示方位的单词。

Step 2

完成教材1a～1c的任务

1．认真观察1a图片，完成1a的任务。(2分钟) Teacher：Now look at 1a and match the words with the places in the picture.Write the letter of each place in the picture next to the correct word or words on the list. 2．认真听录音，完成1b的任务。(2分钟)

Teacher：Now I will play recordings of three conversations about the picture.Listen carefully and circle the picture of each place you hear on the tape. 3．大声朗读并背诵1b中的对话，结对练习1b中的三个小对话，最熟练的一组要到讲台上展示。(3分钟) 4．仿照1b中的小对话，针对1a图片中其他地方进行口语训练。先由师生之间进行口语训练，然后让同学们模仿编写并表演对话，完成1c。(3分钟) Teacher：Now practice the conversations above in 1b with your partner.Then ask and answer the questions about the other places in 1a in pairs.One person asks a question and the other person answers. 完成教材2a～2d的任务

1．仔细观察图片中建筑物之间的位置关系，完成2a的任务。(3分钟) Teacher：Under the pictures，there are six sentences.Each sentence describes one of the pictures.Now read after me one by one.Then write the number of the sentence in the box for the picture that is described. 2．听录音，选用适当的介词填空，完成2b的任务。(2分钟) Teacher：Before listening to the conversation，let's pay attention to the six phrases and read after me. “next to，in front of，between，behind，across from，on”

Teaching Reflection【教学反思】

本课运用图片、多媒体等教学手段，让学生通过直观的体验熟悉新单词，训练听说，在大量口语操练中学生对Where's…？Is there a …？There be结构有了深刻的印象。利用课本插图、多媒体投影练习听说，使课堂生动、活泼。优点如下：

1．利用学生感兴趣的图片展现周围的事情，学生很兴奋，语法讲解也降低了难度，很自然地突破了重点，学生学起来相对轻松。

2．利用排座位游戏活动，互相询问对方位置，然后向大家汇报自己和搭档的位置。通过这种方式，练习运用所学目标语言，完成本节的教学任务，效果很好。

3．对学生的赏识教育和期待教育有了很大进步，通过学生精彩的表现，我觉得学生的潜力都值得老师引导学生去开发。

4．知识点的讲解到位、细致，学生会学以致用。
