一、

教学内容：

go for it七年级英语下Unit 5 Why do you like pandas？第1课时。Section A中的1a、1b、1c

1、课时内容：

Topic： Animals in a zoo Functions: (1) Describe animals：Pandas are kind of interesting. (2) express preferences ：Why do you like tigers ? Because they're really cool. (3) Grammar: wh - questions and answers

二、教学目标：（Teaching goals） 1、知识目标：能够听、说、认读本课的动物单词和形容词，zoo, animal, tiger, elephant, koala, panda, lion, giraffe; smart, cute, fun,friendly,lazy, shy, beautiful 和kind of. 2、能力目标：能够利用句型

Let’s see the ...s? Why do you want to see the lions? / Why do you like lions?/Because they’re cute/interesting,进行简单的交际，谈论对动物的喜好及其原因；并且能在各种活动中学会使用形容词来描述动物。听力训练中要求教会学生捕捉特定信息，抓住关键词why, what, because等。

3、情感目标：通过一系列的任务活动，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生主动参与到课堂活动中来，实现自主学习；通过小组活动、组间竞赛等，

淡化个人竞争，培养学生的合作意识和团队精神；培养学生关爱、保护动物的意识。

二、教学重点：(Teaching important) 1、掌握常用动物单词和形容词的读音和书写，达到四会要求。

2、能熟练运用句型“Why do you like ...s? Because they’re ...”谈论对动物的喜好及原因；能用形容词说出简单的描述动物的句子。

三、教学难点：(Teaching difficult) Why 和Because 句型的正确使用

四、教学方法：(Teaching methods) 1、情景交际教学法：联系课文实际，创设情景，引入讨论主题，在交际中学英语。充分利用学生已有的知识和经验，创设生活化的真实情境，引导学生在运用中学习语言，然后在学习新的语言知识后创造性地运用语言。

2、任务型教学法：依据课程的总体目标并结合教学内容，设计多种任务活动和游戏，吸引和组织他们积极参与，使学生通过观察、思考、讨论、交流和合作等方式，提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间，促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作，进行探究学习。

3、尝试教学法：在课堂活动中把学生分成6人一小组的学习小组，让他们围绕着课堂任务分工合作，通过学生自学和小组互助学习进行尝试教学，强调课前预习、课堂讨论和课堂检测。让学生在尝试中学习，在尝试中体验成功，从而获得知识、技能和情感体验。

4、多媒体辅助教学法：运用现代化多媒体技术直观形象的学习。用多媒体课件和图画作为辅助，形象地展示图片，完成一些任务型的活动设计，让

学生在活动中复习知识，操练句型，使学生能有尽可能多的机会动口说，以熟练掌握所学知识，提高听、说、读、写的综合素质。

五、教具准备：(Teaching tools) 多媒体课件，彩色粉笔

六、教学过程：(Teaching steps) Step1：arming up(热身活动)

1、Greet the students.（师生问好）:

T: Good morning, boys and girls. S: Good morning, Miss Zeng …

2、Lead-in（导入） Topic： Animals in a zoo Show a picture of zoo to students. Talk about the animals. To create an English environment, the teacher shows the class some pictures of a zoo. And ask some questions about animals: Do you like to go to the zoo? Do you like animals? Then have them to recall the animals they had learned and write them on the blackboard as he/she can. (eg animals---sheep, monkey, cat, dog, mouse, cow, duck… )

Step2:Presentation 1、Use ppt to present teaching goals（展示教学目标）

2、Use ppt to present independent study（展示自主学习要求）

3、Check (检查自学情况) Step3 ：Teaching 1、Work on 1a : use PPT to show the class some pictures of animals and present other animals. And ask them: What’s this in English?

It's a tiger. (Then lion, panda, elephant, koala, giraffe) Ss look at the picture and try to remember the new words of the animals. 2、 Next, ask one student to match the pictures with the words on the words. Other students turn to page 25 and finish 1a. 3. Check the answers with the class. 利用幻灯片展示,看图片，拼读单词，教会新课单词。

4、Work on 1b: Tell Ss to listen to the tape and check the animals they hear in 1a. Play the recording again and check the answers with the class. 5、Work on 1c : Pair work. Ask the students to imagine “ We are in the zoo, there are many kinds of animals here.” Then ask a student to do the model with you: —

Let’s see the lions first.

— Why? (Why do you /does she /does he like lions?) — Because they are interesting.

Ss work with their partners practice the conversation using the animal in 1a. Step4：Game(游戏) :Guessing Game

1、Guess what animal it is？利用PPT 展示图片，让学生竞猜。

2、Can you guess? 利用PPT展示有关动物的描述，让学生竞猜。

3、Let students think of an animals. Ask and answer questions with your partner to guess each other’ s animal. Give a dialogue sample like this: A:Is the animal big? B:Yes,it is./No.it isn’t.

A:Is it black and white? B:Yes,it is.

A:Where’s the animal from? B:It’s from China.

A:It’s a panda! B:Yes,you’re right.

请几位同学到讲堂前操练该句型，全班同学集体参与。

Step5：Test(当堂检测) Step6、Summary(课堂小结) 1、summary the words and the sentences. 2、爱护动物，从我做起

Step7: Homework（作业）

1、总结所学过的动物的单词，用英语写出来。你还知道另外的有关于动物的单词吗？

2、写一个小对话来讨论一下你所喜欢的动物及原因。

3、把今天所学的新单词写在单词本。
