教学内容：

1.能初步认识人民币，英镑，美元。

2.能简单了解人民币，英镑，美元上的文化符号，如：人民币上的毛主席和著名景观，英镑上的女王和名人，美元上的总统和著名建筑。

3.能用英语正确表述RMB, pounds和dollars，以及部分文化特征，如人民币上著名景观的所在地，英镑上名人的名字和美元上总统的名字和著名建筑。

4.能激发学生兴趣学习英语和探索世界文化的兴趣，培养学习的模仿能力和小组协作能力。

教学重点：

教学准备：PPT, 图片，A4白纸

教学过程：

Step 1. Warming up Chant “Today is Monday”. Step 2. Presentation 1.

Discussion. T gives ss the sample money, and lay out 3 questions for kids and give 3 mins to them to discuss. •

Gathering the information. Invite ss to share their ideas. Accordingly, T draw the frame of the lesson just like the form below. What is it? Money RMB Pound

Getting into details. T encourage ss to sort the money into 3 categories: RMB, pounds and dollars. Then T asks ss to carefully observe RMB (What can you see in RMB?)and discuss in the group. The more information, the better. Hopefully, ss can come up with some ideas, if they are right, T should write it down in the appropriate place in the form and T should always encourage ss to think. 4.

Repeat the procedure for pounds and dollars. The form will be completed gradually. What is it? Money RMB Pound

Red pockets rain: dropping lots of red pockets and open one of it. As soon as the money pop out, ss have to tell the place on the money. 2.

Shake money box: Each time of shaking the money box, there will be a money jump out, and ss have to tell the name of the famous person in the money.

Step 4. Consolidation. T asks ss to design a kind of money they like as a group and gives the sentence
