Unit 2 Spring is warm.

教材:湖南湘少版四年级下册

【学情分析】

本单元教学对象为四年级学生。本套教材每单元的连贯性不是很大,每单元都是一个独立的话题,很适宜采取单元整体教学来提高单位时间的教学效率。学生在三年级下册unit 8已经学习过了关于气候的单词,如:warm, cool, hot,cold等;在unit 9也已经接触过几个与天气有关的单词如sunny, rainy, snowy , windy, cloudy,本单元的句型:what’s the weather like ? It’s ......和I like...... I don’t like ......学生在三年级下册unit 9也初步学习过了,老师和学生可以根据三年级所学的初步知识结合本单元的内容可达到复习巩固有关新知识内容的目的。并且老师在课堂的日常会话中也经常用英语询问天气,学生对What’s the weather like…? 这个句子并不陌生,大部分学生也能作出相应的回答,少部分学生还可以做适当的话题拓展。

【教学目标】

(一)语言目标

词汇:能听懂、会读、会说和拼写单词四会单词:spring, summer, autumn, winter,warm ,hot, cool , cold.

2、句型:能用“I’m from Changsha.I like spring \ I don’t like summer .”和“Spring is warm.”与他人谈论某地四季的天气情况。

(二)应用目标

1、能够使用句型能够使用句型I like spring . Spring is nice and warm . It’s clod in winter. 描述四季及天气。能够使用句型What’s the weather like…? 进行语言交际,并能由此拓展进行交流。

2、能听懂、会说PartA部分的对话。

(三)情感目标:通过教学方法,提高学生学习英语的兴趣;培养学生注意观察,认真模仿的良好习惯。培养学生热爱自然、热爱生活的品质。

【教学重点】

1、词汇

能听懂、会说、会读新单词:weather,spring,summer,autumn, winter, warm , hot, cool, cold.

2、句型:

能用“I like spring \ I don’t like summer .”和“It’s hot in summer .”向他人谈论描述某地四季的天气情况。

【教学难点】

spring 的发音。| sp| 发音较难,要引导学生观察口型仔细听,模仿读,理解并区分“What’s the weather like today?”和“What’s the weather like in spring/autumn/…?”的含义,并正确回答。【教学准备】

多媒体课件、录音机、教学磁带、单词卡片等

【教学过程】

Step 1 Warming up

1.Greetings.

How are you ?

Are you excited\warm\hot?

T:What ’s the weather like today?

Do you like sunny days ? Ss:......

T:What a fine day ! I want to take you to a spring outing . A Spring outing in Jishou , We will have some new friends .let’s get on the bus . it is a long trip. First let’s have fun and sing a song together.

⒉唱英语歌曲“autumn leaves.” (让学生进入学习英语的状态。) T:What season is it about the song ?Do you remember? Sa: ....... Sb:.......

T: Autumn , maybe , let’s have a look.

教师带读新单词autumn. 学生一个一个读。

2. 导入新单词教学

T:Let’s play a guessing game. Let’s look listen and guess. PPT播放图片并配文字:

What season is it in Jishou?

It’s warm. The trees and grass are green, You can see many beautiful flowers here and there.

Sc:...... Sd:.....

T:Maybe. Spring ,Let’s have a look! Wow, A beautiful park . Is he right? Ss: ......

T: Read after me , read twice . (分小组读;升调读,降调读) 以同样的方式教学新单词:summer, winter.

Step 2 Let’s talk about weather .

1.T:How many seasons are there in a year? Do you remember? Who wants to try?

Ss: four , spring , summer , autumn , winter .

T: Ok ,boys and girls ,Sometimes the weather is warm, Sometimes the weather is cool, Sometimes it is hot,

and Sometimes it is cold . The weather is different in a year , Why ? Because there are four seasons in a year . They are spring ,summer ,autumn and winter . ( 板书seasons ) 帮助学生理解season的含义。Read it in different ways .

T:Who can tell me ? What’s the weather like in spring\summer\ autumn\winter? (PPT显示四季的图片。)

Ss:spring is warm.

T: What colour is it in spring ? Sa: green .

T: good job! The trees and grass are green in spring.

Do you like spring ?why?

Sc: I like spring .spring is beautiful, we can go for a walk in the park in spring .

Se: I don’t like summer . it’s too hot .(以此方法和学生教学谈论winter,summer, autumn)

Step 3 The dialogue.

T:OK, The spring outing is here ,look,who are they? We have four new friends. Where are they from? Is he \she from

Beijing\Changsha ....? I don’t know , let’s listen !播放课文视频1. Listen and count. 不打开书听课文录音:How many places do you hear ? What are they?

2. Listen and choose the words fill in the blanks.

3.Listen and check your answers.打开书,听音,检查你的答案。

组织学生把课文的句子大胆说出来。

Ss: Winter is not cold in Kunming.

5. Look and say out the sentences.(教师PPT给学生提供句型框架。)

Step 4 Welcome to the seasons clubs!

教师准备了四幅有关季节的图片。

T:Boys and girls ,I like spring. if you like spring ,please join us !

Ok, if you like summer, come here ! This is autumn club, please join us! This way , this is winter club!

学生们根据自己的实际爱好分好组后,开始讨论并写好自己的学案。
