Step 1 Warming up 1.

Greetings. 2.

Free talk. T: What day is it today? Ss: It’s Friday. T: Tomorrow is Saturday.

T: Do you help your father and mother at home every Saturday? Step 2 Presentation and drill 1.

Learn the new words, phrases in the sentence pattern.

①. Learn the word “cinema”

Lead – in. T: Where are you going tomorrow? S1: I’m going to school/ the post office…

T: I’m going to the cinema. ( CAI 出示cinema 的图片,学习单词cinema.) T: Are you going to the cinema with me?

Ss: Yes. Great. T: Ok, Let’s go.

Learn the word “sign”

T: How can we get there? Look, there is a sign. ( CAI 出示图片,学习单词sign.)

Learn the phrase “Guests do not go in” in the sentence pattern: What does that sign mean? It means…

T: What does that sign mean? (板书) Do you know?

T: It says “Staff Only”.

T: Can we go in?

Ss: No, we can’t.

T: Why? Ss: Because we are guests.

T: Yes, we are guests. It means “Guests do not go in”. (板书,帮助学生理解, 并带读)

④. Learn the phrase “You can go out from there”.

T: Look! There is another sign. What’s it? ( CAI 出示图片exit) Ss: It’s an exit. T: What does that sign mean? T: It means “You can go out from there”. (板书,帮助学生理解, 带读)

⑤. Learn the phrase “ No mobile phone”.

T: (接电话) Hello! This is Bellin.( CAI屏幕出现No Mobile Phone的标示,教师停止通话并关机)

T: I’m sorry! What does that sign mean? Do you know?

T: It says “ No mobile phone.” (教师出示手机并带读mobile phone)

T: It means “ Do not use mobile phone”.(带读)

T: I’m going to the cinema, too. Let’s go together. Ss: Ok. Let’s go. T: What does this sign mean?

(CAI) Ss: It means “Guests do not go in”/ “ You can go out from there” /

“ Do not use mobile phone”.. T: (CAI电影屏幕出现“No talking”

的标示) What does this sign mean? T: (嘘…)The film is ready. It means“No talking”.(引导学生回答)

②. Learn “ No picking of flowers”

T: Oh. The film is over. Where are you going? S1 / S2/ S3:…. T: I’ m going to the park. Are you going with me? Ss: Great! T: Wow! So many flowers. How beautiful! Look! What is she doing? S: She is picking the flowers.

T: What does this sign mean? T, Ss: It means “ No picking of flowers”.(板书并带读) T: Let’s say “ No picking of flowers” to her, ok? Ss: Ok! No picking of flowers, please! The girl (CAI): I’m sorry!

③. Learn “ No fishing”. T: Let’s go on. Look, there is a lake. What is that girl doing? Ss: She is fishing. T: There is a sign. (CAI) What does that sign mean? Ss: It means “ No fishing”. T: Let’s say “ No fishing” to her, ok? Ss: Ok! No fishing, please!

The girl (CAI): I’m sorry!

④. Learn “ No spittting”. T: Look! The man is spitting. (CAI) (带读spitting) T: What does this sign mean? (CAI出示“ No spittting”的标示) T, Ss: It means “ No spitting”.(板书并带读) T: Let’s say “ No spittting” to him. Ss: No spittting, please!
