(2) 采用课堂教学、听力训练、自主学习、实践运用相结合的方式，营造个性化学习的环境，大量使用先进的信息技术，推进基于计算机和网络的英语软件教学，为学生提供良好的语言学习环境与条件。课堂设计使学生有足够的情绪安全感,从而有勇气开口练习说英语，使学生从“练”中学,亲身体验从“学懂→学会”的全过程，享受成功.

1. Warm-up

Have a guessing game---what is this in the picture?

2. Presentation

（1）Have ss read the learning aims to understand what they will learn today.

(2)Show pictures of different animals and let Ss learn the animals. Teach Ss the names of the different animals . (3)Use the description words to express the animals by asking and answering between the teacher and the ss.

3.Game practice

(1) A patting game to find the animal words. (2) Read quickly when you look at the words.

4. Work on 1a

Get Ss to match the words with the animals in the picture , Check the answers.

设计意图

本单元主要话题是描述动物，通过课前的一个猜测游戏引出本课话题：动物。

图片教学法是呈现新知识最简单有效的方法之一，学生通过图片能更加直接的理解新单词的含义。

游戏复***量的新单词，让同学们在快乐紧张的氛围中增强新单词的重现频率，巩固单词基础，为接下来的句型学习打下坚实的基础。

通过1a的练习，使学生进一步学会运用新单词。和学生一起谈论图片，目的在于引导学生学会使用动物单

6. Work on 1c

Get Ss to work in pairs and practice the conversation in 1c, then make conversations about the other animals in the picture using the words in the box. Ask some pairs to present their conversations to the class.

7. The emotional education

Show some pictures about the animals which were killed by people, make ss understand that the animals are in danger every day, ask them to protect them and love them.

此环节是听力训练。让学生在听对话的过程中抓住关键词汇，学生听起来比较容易，成功的喜悦和感受可以增强他们的学习自信心。带动物谚语的猜测会使学生了解更多课外知识。

此环节为机械操练，使不同层次学生初步掌握目标语言。机械操练是英语初始阶段教学必不可缺的部分，学生要先从模仿到初步掌握，最后才能熟练应用。任意搭配训练口语可以激发学生兴趣，培养整体学生自信。

此环节通过观看保护动物的宣传片培养他们热爱动物，关爱动物，不买卖动物制品的环保意识和决心。

此环节帮助学生回忆本节课重点内容，加深对目标的巩固。
