Lesson 28

Kipper’s Laces 教学设计

一、教学目标

1. 知识与技能目标:学生能够读懂故事情节,看图回答问题。

2. 情感态度价值观目标:培养学生同学之间要和睦相处、互帮互助的意识。

3. 过程与方法目标:通过模仿录音,独立朗读故事。

4. 思维目标:通过表演和讨论培养学生的想象力和语言表达能力;通过观察故事图片培养学生的观察能力与预测能力。

二、教学重难点

1. 教学重点:学生能够读懂故事情节。

2. 教学难点:重点单词tie, laces, block, tried的发音。

三、教学准备

多媒体设备、课件、人物图片(Mum, Dad, Kipper, Miss Green)、鞋子图片。

四、教学过程

1. 热身(Warm up):唱英文歌。

2. 导入(Lead-in):

(1)

展示鞋子和鞋带,Everyone,look!I have a pair of shoes. Who can tie the laces? Who want to try? 请两位学生上台系鞋带,使全体学生理解“tie the laces”的含义。

(2)提出问题:Kipper wants to buy shoes. Where can he go?展示flower shop、pet shop、toy shop、shoe shop图片,自然过渡到讲故事环节:One day,Kipper went to the shoe shop .And he bought new shoes. Could Kipper tie his laces? Let’s have a look. 3. 看图讲故事(Storytelling):

(Picture 1)Kipper wanted new shoes.

Mum and Dad took him to a shoe shop. (Picture 2)Kipper had a pair of new shoes. Could Kipper tie his laces?

No. He couldn’t tie his laces. Who helped him? Dad helped him. (Picture 3)Look! Where was Kipper ?

Kipper was at school. The class had P.E.

(Picture 4)Kipper couldn’t tie his laces. Who helped him? Miss Green helped him. Some big boys saw Kipper. What did they do? They laughed at him. (模仿两个男生的动作和表情)

How did Kipper feel? (请学生自由作答)

Is it good? No, it’s bad. (Picture 5)Kipper was upset. (模仿Kipper的表情)

He told Dad about the big boys. What would Dad do?

(Picture 6)Dad had an idea. He made a block. (实物展示)

He taught Kipper how to tie his laces. (教师演示)

(Picture 7)Kipper tried…(指向Kipper)

(Picture 8)and tried…

(Picture 9)and tried and tried. (Picture 10)“Hooray!”

said Kipper. (模仿Kipper的动作和表情)

Kipper made it. He could tie the laces. He was so happy. (Picture 11)Kipper was at school. He did up his laces. Miss Green didn’t help him.

Did anybody laugh at Kipper this time? No. Nobody laughed at him. Could Kipper tie his laces? (让学生自由作答)

(Picture 12)Oh no! What happened? Kipper tied his laces together. 4. 听录音模仿(Listening and Imitating):

(1)放录音,让学生完整地听一遍故事。

(2)放录音,全班学生齐声模仿跟读2遍。要求学生在理解故事内容的基础上,逐句跟录音指读。

(3)学生开火车模仿跟读,教师对发音较难的单词和句子进行纠正领读。

5. 朗读故事(Reading Dramatically):

(1)全班学生齐声朗读,鼓励学生大胆开口,读出戏剧化效果,读出感情。如:“Kipper tried…

and tried…and tried and tried.”这几句话不断加重的语气体现了练习系鞋带的艰辛,而“Hooray!”体现了Kipper系好鞋带后的兴奋。

(2)个人朗读。请几名学生分别独立朗读图1-10,引导学生注意语音语调的变化。

6. 检查理解(Story Comprehension):

(1)图片排序

教师在PPT上展示第1-12幅图,让学生根据故事情节重新排序。

(2)句子排序

教师将打乱的句子卡片展示在PPT上,让学生上台找出相应的句子卡片贴在图片下方。句子如下:

Kipper wanted new shoes. He couldn’t tie his laces. Dad helped him. Kipper couldn’t tie his laces. Miss Green helped him. Dad made a block. Kipper tried and tried.

“Hooray!”

said Kipper. “Oh no!”

said Kipper. 7. 讨论(Discussion):

(1)教师围绕故事最后一幅图提问,引导学生续编故事,培养学生的想象力与表达能力。

问题:What would happen next?

Could Kipper move?

Would Kipper do up his laces again? (2)联系生活实际,引导学生要和睦相处、互帮互助。如学生表达有困难,教师给予必要的帮助和指导。

问题:Was it right to laugh at Kipper?

Would you laugh at Kipper?

Would you help Kipper to tie his laces?

Would you teach Kipper to tie his laces?

8.活动:教师组织学生进行系鞋带比赛,请几名有鞋带的学生上台进行系鞋带比赛。Can you tie your laces? Who want to try? Let’s have a competition.

9. 家庭作业(Homework)

(1)听录音,熟读课文。

(2)根据讨论续写故事,字数不限。
