本课为湖南少年儿童出版社五年级下册的第五单元的第一课时。

语言功能：谈论日期及部分节假日。

语言结构：

When is your birthday?

It is on the fifth of March.

Children’s Day is on the first of June. 3重点难点

教学重点：掌握A部分的句型，B部分的单词。

教学难点：流利地按顺序说出12个月份的名称，灵活地运用句型“When’s ……”、“It’s on the……”谈论日期。

They ate chicken , birthday cake and fruit salad. It was so great! Then they drank

some orange juice. They played card game and played football. They gave Mike a present . '' Oh! It's a cute doll!'' He said.

Mike felt very happy! He enjoyed his wonderful

party very much !
