Unit5 What time is it ?

教学内容:Unit 5 A和B部分

教学目标:

一、知识与技能目标:

1.能听懂、会说、认读新单词:clock, eleven, o’clock, twelve o’clock, night, day.等单词。

2.能用“What time is it ?”向他人询问时间。能用It’s …..o’clock.? 回答时间。

3.能听懂、会说A部分的对话。

二、过程与方法目标:

1. 利用图片和课件展示引导学生理解生词和句型意思。

2. 通过创设情景,反复操练达到巩固所学句型。

三、情感态度与价值目标:

通过学习时间词汇,培养学生能养成守时,惜时的好习惯。教学重点:

能听懂、会说、认读新单词:clock, eleven, o’clock, twelve o’ clock, night, day.等单词。能用“What time is it ?”向他人询问时间。能用It’s …..o’ clock.? 回答时间。

教学难点:

理解a clock 和o’ clock 的区别,数词eleven, twelve 的发音。

教学方法:

Step1. Warming up

Step2. Revision

1.Show the pictures and ask the Ss to read words.

2.Practice to say sentences.

Step3. Presentation and drill

1.老师播放钟的声音

T: What can you hear ?

Ss: clock (T leads to say.)

T: What time is it?

Ss:……..

2.Now, this class we will learn Unit5 .课件展示并板书课题Unit5 What time is it ?

3.课件呈现数字1----10

(1)Ask the Ss to read the number from 1 to 10.

(2)T: How to say 11,12 in English.

Ss: ……..

T: Read after me: eleven,twelve (PPT)

(3)Read the numbers from one to twelve.

(4)Show the PPT and ask the Ss .

T: What’s this ?(钟表图片)

Ss:……..

T: Listen carefully and read after me .

Ss: clock (小组练习读,单个读单词并纠正其发音) T:a clock What’s the meaning in Chinese? Ss: 一个钟表

(5) PPT 呈现钟表所指时间。

eleven o’ clock 十一点

twelve o’ clock 十二点

区分a clock 与o’ clock 的区别。

(6) 呈现day, night 图片并教学

Step4 Practice

1.Game:快速反应

叫四个学生上黑板前来,老师出示图片全班读单词,这四个学生中哪个最快用手拍到该单词,该生先回到位子去。

PPT呈现时间图片

T: What time is it ? Look at the clock , please .

Ss: It’s …o’ clock .(T leads to say.)

用同样的方法询问不同时间。

Step5 Consolidation

1.Let’s listen the dialogue.(VCD)

Ask and answer

a: What time do you hear?

b: Listen to the tape ,what can you hear the sentences ? c: 跟读课文模仿其语音语调。

d: 表演对话,两人一组,或根据所学内容自由对话。

e: 评价。

Step6 Summarize and Homework

1.提问时间的表达法及答语。

2.抄写课文单词,每个5遍。

3.背诵U5 A 部分内容。
