Step1. Warming-up

1、听一首英文歌曲

(设计目的在于活跃气氛,调动学生的积极性,减少学生的紧张情绪。加之五官属于人的长相的范畴,所以与此课人物外貌相关连,这样引入就能自然过渡到本节课的内容。人物前活动用于扫除学生的语言障碍,因此在教学上以激发学生的学习兴趣为主,通过活动让学生感知、操练语言,为下一步活动做好铺垫。) Step2. Presentation

1、依次呈现关于short、tall 、long hair、short hair、big eyes 、small eyes、young、old、round face的PPT图片

2、Then teach the new words and new sentences pattern. The teacher uses the pictures to lead and teach the new words and the new sentence pattern. And then ask the Ss to describe the classmates.

(设计目的:利用图片展示进行新单词句型的引入,让学生熟悉。

接着要求描述图片中人物的外貌,再小组练习。这样更形象,更贴近生活,学生更容易接受,加强了学生间的合作与交流。再按发形,身高,体重的类别练习以免混淆,同时加深记忆。)

Pair work At first the teacher gives the Ss an example. Then ask Ss practice like this.

A: What does he look like?

B: He has short hair. He is tall. He has a round face.

Step4. Practice Guessing game:

出示几条信息提示,要求学生根据提示猜测出,提示中所描述的是哪一位老师。

Step5.Free talk:

Talk about any person who you like.

T:Who is your best friend?

S:……is my best friend.

T: What does he/she look like?

S: He/She is ……

S: He/She has……

让学生同桌之间相互讨论之后,选几组到讲台上操练对话

1.听录音跟读Part A

2.利用所学和你的同桌表演一个对话

3.单词抄写3遍并默写

教学反思:本课的教学重点是要求学生能够熟练掌握关于描述人外貌的词汇和句型。并且能够熟练运用句型来描述周围的人。在教学的过程中,要求学生用所学习的词汇和句型来描述自己最好的朋友,以此来掌握所学习的内容,让学生真正能在做中学、学中用。
