Unit5 Why do you like pandas?

1.知识目标：

词汇：zoo, animal, panda, tiger, elephant, koala, lion, giraffe, cute, lazy, smart, beautiful, scary, friendly. 句型：A:Let's see the lions. 教学

本单元的主要内容是用形容词来修饰动物。通过这一话题，训练学生的听、说、教材

分析

读、写四项基本技能，让学生通过学习动物名称，学习一些有形容词和动物名称，以及形容词的用法；学习并掌握why问句的回答，以Why 引导的特殊疑问句询问原因并做出有关because的回答语；学习动物名词及形容词的用法，同时培养学生养成对动物喜好的表达及其原因。

学情分析学法指导

本单元的主题是用形容词来修饰动物。，同时引导学生采用Practicing, Listening for specific information, pair work, reading和

writing的学习策略，掌握一些重点词汇和核心句型，在小组合作学习的过程中，进一步促进学生对动物喜好的表达及其原因。

Step 1 Warming up(5mins)

1.Play an English song before class.(wrire down the words in the notebook that Ss don’t know)

Step2 Presentation(15mins)

1.

Show the new words about animal,and teach each words three times 2.

Follow me to read and spell new words.

Try their best to read again.

Step 3 Guessing Game:(5mins)

Show some pictures about animals and play quickly, Let Ss to guess what they can see, and say out in English.

Repeat with animal words and speak out ，teach the new words and practice in the same way.

Step4 Learn some description words:(10mins)

New words:cute, lazy, smart, beautiful, scary, friendly.

Requests: Use the description words to described the animal。

Eg. 1.cute cat, smart monkey, scary lion, lazy dog.

Step 5 Listen and say(3mins)

1.

Listen and imitate the dialogues in Section A 1b.

Listen and check（√）the animals you hear in 1a.

Step 6 Pair work(10mins)

Ss make a small group and make a sentence。
