Step1 Warming up 1.Greeting. 2.Sing an English song. 3.Dance together.(由dance导入dancing) Step 2 Presentation and drill 1.

Show some pictures on the screen,teach the new words.

cook T:What is he doing？

S:He is sleeping.(Help Ss answer.) Show and Teach the sentence "He is sleeping" 2.

Teach other new words(sleep, eat, drink, play, watch) in the same way. 3.Let’s chant. 4.Listen to Part A, finish the listening work. Understand the main meanings of Part A. 5.Check the answers. 6.Open the books and underline the words ending with –ing. 7.Listen and repeat. 8.Group work and act. Peter's mother is cooking. The dog is sleeping. Peter's sister is reading. The cat is playing.

Peter is writing. Step 3 Practice Let’s say. Look at the picture on the screen, say what they are doing. Step4 Consolidation Guessing game One student do the action, the other guesses what he/she is do- ing. Step 6 Homework 1.Read and recite Part A.
