Listen to a song“We're going to the zoo”and ask students sing Pandas are….

together the song.After that ,ask students to answer question“What can you see in the vedio?”and it’s answer “We can see a lot of animals!”.Then lead students to learn the new words.

Ask students look at the picture and tell what animals they can see. Step 2 .Play a game 1.

Put students into three groups and ask them to answer quickly after they guess what animal is it? Give students description sentences like this:1. It is a kind of(一种) animal.2. It is

black and white.3. It likes eating bamboos(竹子)very much. After students guess the answer ,tell them the correct answer like panda. Step 3. work on 1a 1.

Look at the picture .What animals are there? 2.Point out the numbered list of words.Say each one and ask students to repeat 3. Then ask students to match each word with one of the pictures. Step 4. work on

1b Get Ss to listen and check (√) the animals they hear in 1a. Check the answers. Read out the conversation in the picture and ask some pairs to role-play the conversation to the class.

Ask some Ss to repeat the conversation with different animals this time. Step 5. work on 1c

Get Ss to work in pairs and practice the conversation in 1c, then make conversations about the other animals in the picture using the words in the box. Ask
