(Show some pictures or sounds to the students so that the students are interested in it. Talk about the animals to create an English environment. Use ppt to present the learning aims.) Ⅱ.

New words

Let the students speak out the names of the animals.(Notice the pronunciation of koala and how to spell giraffe.) 2.

Read the new words in groups 3.

Have a check (Turn to P25 and finish the tasks in 1a ) Ⅲ.
