单元课时分析：

本单元的核心话题是描述动物和表达个人喜好，以及句式Why do you like …? Because they are …。这是本单元的重点，第一课时重点是让学生掌握一些词汇和句型描述动物，表达个人喜好。并培养学生爱护动物的情感态度。

课时学情分析：

学生已经学习过由why ,where ,what 引导的特殊疑问句句型，具备一定的基础，各式各样可爱的动物们能激发学生的好奇心，会产生浓厚的兴趣，所以学生在学习本课内容时会认真、高效、愉快学习

课时教学建议：

充分利用简笔画、教学图片、多媒体等教学手段和工具，创设谈论动物的情景，使学生能开口说、、动笔写，熟练掌握所学单词和重点句型，通过观看保护野生动物宣传片，引起学生共鸣，培养学生保护并爱护动物的情感态度。

教学后记：

本堂课上同学们对动物都很感兴趣，而且乐于开口大声朗读和交流，大部分同学会读动物的单词，但是penguin \ giraffe \ dolphin 对学生来说还是个难点，再就是学生对动物的英文单词掌握还不是很熟练，因此在以后教学中，应该设计重点单词的对抗赛，可以加深学生对单词的印象。总体上，同学们在这堂课上的学习达到了预定目标，目标语言掌握得还不错，口语交际也很棒！
