教学目标

：

1. 能听懂、会说Where is .....? It’s in the east.

2. 描述某个地方所在的位置。权所有

教学重难点

：

1.重点掌握句型:Where is …? 及其回答,表达位置所在。

2. 把握方位词的特征,能说明什么是方位词。

1. Greeting T: Hello, boys and girls! Good morning!21How are you? Ss: I'm fine, thank you! 2.

New words 3. Let's play a game

根据老师的口令做动作.例如: Please turn to the north. Please turn to the south. Please turn to the east. Please turn to the west. 老师随意发出口令,学生要尽快执行口令。老师可以不断加快发出口令的速度,以加大活动难度。21

Presentation 老师出示一张中国地图进行介绍:“What’s this?” (This is a map of China.) Yes, it’s a map of China .提问: Can you find Beijing? 在地图上标注east, west, south, north. 帮助学生复习这些单词,引导学生在图上找到北京的位置。

教师提问学生：“where are you from？”

如果有必要,可以用中文稍加解释和说明,

S1：

“I’m from Hunan.

It’s in the south of China.” 然后向学生们提问:“Where is your pen friend from?’’如果学生能说出其他国家的名称,要及时鼓励表扬,并带领其他学生一起学习。

向学生提问: Where are you from? Where is it on the map? Please find it on the map.

Activity

把全班分成两组,看活动一的图进行对话练习。

再放录音,请学生看着书小声地跟读。可以请男生和女生分组读,也可以请单个学生读。

6.Homework (1)背诵课文,记住本课中出现的单词及短语。

(2)描述自己家乡的地理位置。
