本单元的话题是“动物园动物”，话题功能是能用所学语言描述各种常见动物，表达自己对动物的喜好。话题通过图文观察和听说活动，引领学生进入参观“动物园”的情景，旨在让学生了解各种动物的英文名称，以及他们生长的地方及习性，并能运用所学词汇和句型讨论对动物的喜爱及原因。本节课为阅读课，主要介绍以大象为载体，介绍世界上濒临危险的动物，唤起学生对动物的保护之情。

直观形象，又能提高学生的学习兴趣。再加以本节课为阅读课，学生已经掌握深化联系，学生自然会掌握这些词汇，对话练了动物的英文词汇及对动物的喜好习可以先用图片引导学生整体操练，再进行分表达，为本节课的学习鉴定了词汇及组练习。

教学反思：

1.

本节课为阅读课，首先用学生较为喜欢的游戏方式，激发学生的学习兴趣，从而自然地进入下个环节。

2.

在阅读中，学生需要掌握基本的阅读技巧，运用所学技巧进行阅读，目的是让学生更有效地找到关键信息，本节课中，学生对阅读技巧的掌握比较扎实。

3.

阅读课对于学生来说，不是很感兴趣的课型，因此，如何最大程度地激发学生阅读的兴趣是需要不断思考，不断尝试各种方法的问题。

4.

本节课主要是通过拯救濒临灭绝的大象为载体，呼吁学生保护动物，从我做起。本节课学生可深刻的体会到保护动物的重要性，情感态度价值观这一教学目标基本达成。

5.

本节课的不足为：（1）应提前预设学生会在阅读中碰到的问题，提前想好解决措施；（2）阅读课应该扩大学生的词汇量及信息量，丰富学生的思维，开阔学生的视野。
