Unit9 What does he look like? Section B (2a-2c) 一、教材分析

本单元是新目标英语七年级下册第九单元，教材内容围绕着描述人物的外貌特点展开，让学生学会谈论、描写人物的外貌形象。这一课时是本单元的第四课时，通过前三个课时的学习，学生已经学会使用What does he look like? He is/ has…

这个句型来描述人物的身高、体重、发型、服装等方面的特征。这节课则主要学习Section B中2a-2中短文，运用所学的句型来描写人物的形象，并学习如何表达自己的看法。

在学习活动中，学生能通过对人物不同形象进行描述并提出自己的看法，促进学生之间和师生之间的情感交流，增进情谊。

二、学情分析

本课的教学对象是学过四年英语的七年级学生，此阶段学生天真活泼，好奇心强，有较强的模仿能力和求知欲望，而且富有一定的逻辑思维能力。

三、教学目标

（一）、语言知识目标

能够正确认读以下单词及短语police artist

通过够默读能够理解文章内容。能够根据提纲简单地复述课文，特别是人物的外貌描写。

1、从认知策略来看，学生能够在学习中集中注意力，积极思考，利用阅读策略来高效的理解文章信息。

五、教学方法

初中阶段的英语教学，也应从学生的各种兴趣入手，以各种活动为手段，运用多种感官学英语，实施“兴趣教育”。

因此，在教学方法的总体构思上，注重学生听、说、读、合作等多方面能力的综合训练。采用任务型教学法、多媒体辅助等，用竞赛方式来激发学生学习英语的兴趣，用同伴互助的方式来相互学习，降低难度，从而解决问题，利用小讨论的方式集思广益，开阔视野。利用阅读策略来提高学生的阅读能力并能完成相应阅读理解任务，获取相关信息。学生学习根据上下文分析句子的逻辑关系，推测不同代词的指代对象。
