第一课时Section A (1a-1c) 教学设计

教学内容分析：

本单元是七年级下册第五单元Unit 5 Why do you like pandas? 。本单元的主要话题是描述动物，表达个人对动物的喜好并说明理由。该单元的学习内容涉及到动物，是中学生比较喜欢的话题，贴近学生的生活，极易激起学生学习的主动性和兴趣，产生了解动物的强烈欲望。通过本单元的学习，学生要掌握一些新的动物的名称，学会用性质和品质的形容词来描述动物，并能用“why do you like…? Because …”来陈述喜欢的原因。通过讨论动物，让学生了解大自然，增长地域知识，增近对自然环境的情感，唤起大家保护动物和环境的意识。

学生情况分析：

七年级的学生经过一个多学期的中学英语学习生活，学生们已经学过由why , where , what 引导的特殊疑问句，具有了学习本单元知识的认知前提，比较容易接受新学知识。七年级学生对英语学习还是充满好奇，对动物的话题很感兴趣，因此，在本单元借助学生熟悉的动物图片，激发他们的学习兴趣，使他们利用已有的知识，积极主动地参与对话交流，并讲其运用到生活中，掌握重难点达到教学目标。

教学目标

1. 知识目标：

（1）掌握有关动物的名词: panda, tiger, elephant, koalas, lion , giraffe,

（2）掌握描叙动物的形容词：cute, lazy. smart, beautiful, scary, shy, ugly, clever, friendly, quiet. (3) 其它类：zoo, animal （4）掌握和会运用目标语：

--Let’s see the…

--Why do you like them?-- Because they’re…

--Why does he/she like the …? ---Because they are …

2. 能力目标：

（1）培养学生在真实情景中学会表达自己喜爱的动物，同时询问和说明原因。

（2）提高学生的听说能力。尤其是大胆地用英文流利、准确地交谈。

3. 情感目标：

（1）通过学习培养学生自觉保护动物的意识。

（2）通过学习使学生更加热爱动物，热爱大自然。

教学重难点 1. 重点：学习和掌握动物的名称。

2. 难点：运用由Why 和Where 引导的特殊疑问句及表达自己喜欢动物的原因的句子。

教学方法: 在大力提倡高效课堂教学模式的环境下，我采取了五步三查的教学方式，通过设置情景，布置学生任务，让学生独学，对学，群学，展示，点评等学习活动来达到教学目标，完成学习任务。

教学过程

Step 1 Organization and greeting 1. Self-introduction and greetings. 2. Review the words about animals in primary school. 教学意图：

1. 自我介绍拉近师生距离。

2. 通过复习了小学已学的动物名词使学生意识到今天要学的内容，起到铺垫的作用。

Step 2

Lead-in 1. PPT展示unit5 Why do you like pandas?的标题，和a panda的图片，并问：

T: What’s this?

Ss: It’s a panda.(有些不知道的学生可以用中文说，老师教学panda并板书。) T: A panda is a kind of animal.(教学animal并板书。) Do you know the other animals’ mane?

2.学生小组间互相检查导学案（P41）的自主学习任务。(检测学生预习单词的情况, 并给预习好的学生奖励评分) 3. Ask a student a question: T: Where can we see the animals? Ss: We can see the animals in the zoo. T: Do you usually go to the zoo?(教学并板书zoo.)

S: Yes I do./ No, I don’t. T: What animals can you see in the zoo?

S: I can see …

4. Now let’s go to the zoo together. P lay a video and get the students to enjoy the flash and know the animals in the video. 教学意图：

1. 利用课件展示图片，直观生动。

2. 动画导入形象生动，引起学生的兴趣。看动画并可以检测学生的预习情况。

Step 3 Teaching new words 1. Present the new words T: Today we are going to learn the names of the animals. We’ll also learn how to say which ones we like and why we like them. PPT 展示a panda的图片，并问一个学生：

T: What’s this?

S1: It’s a panda.

展示一些pandas 并问一个学生用

T: What are these?

S2: They are pandas. T: Thank you. 用同样的方法教学其它动物的名称tiger, elephant, koalas, lion , giraffe, 2.

Practice the words: Students look at the pictures in their book. Match the words with the animals. Finish the teaching task of 1a.

学生小组间检查完成情况并核对答案。

PPT展示一些动物的图片，让学生小组合作把任务完成。（优先完成的给予奖励）

Guess game: show some sentences to the students and explain them, then have the students to guess what animals they are. 教学意图：

1.通过用图片教学动物的名称，使学生能够快而又准确的记住单词，为下面的教学打好基础，扫清障碍。

2.

通过单词匹配联系，巩固所学的动物名称。

Step 4 Listening test Section A 1 b 1.播放录音机，让学生仔细听，并在1a中用圈出他们所听到的动物。听前先读一读1a中的单词，弄懂其含义。

2.再放一遍录音，让学生仔细听，并完成学生导学案P42上的表格。

教学意图：

1. 听第一遍勾选动物名词较基础，学生可轻松做对，树立自信，为下一步听力填空打下基础。

2. 附加的听力填空由易到难，梯度设置明显，意在让学生一步步听懂并复述出所听内容，同时为下一步的说做好准备。

Step 5 Teaching some adjectives 1. Say to students: I like elephant. Because they are interesting.（教学interesting并解释形容词的作用）

2. 学习更多的形容词。出示一些形容词的图片，如cute, lazy. smart, beautiful, scary, shy, ugly, clever, friendly, quiet.并学习这些新单词。（检测学生预习形容词单词的情况,并给预习好的学生奖励评分，还可让学生说出更多的有关形容词。）

教学意图：学习一些形容词，为描述动物打基础

Step 6 Teaching and practice the drills in pairs 1.PPT展示一段动画，要求学生先看并学下面的对话：

A: Let’s see the pandas first. B: Why do you want to see the pandas? A: Because they are cute. 2. Students practice the conversation like this in pairs. 教学意图：用所学的句型与他人交流有关动物的感受。

Step 7 Group-woke 1.做一个调查并完成下面的表格：你的同学们想去看什么动物，为什么？

教学意图：小记者形式完成表格，选出最佳小记者。最后用口头进行输出性训练。

Step 9 Homework: 1. Write some sentences about

the animals you like and you don’t like. 2. Preview the new lesson. “Where are you from?”

教学意图：

1. 通过写喜爱与不喜爱的动物及其原因，达到进一步运用本课单词和句型的目的。

2. 让学生温故的同时不忘提前预习下节课的内容。

评价方法：“摘苹果”

在黑板上画一棵苹果树，将全班同学分为六组，每组画一个篮子，哪一组能又快有准确地完成某个任务或回答某个问题，将可以摘到一个苹果。课快结束时，评出优胜奖，全班同学予以祝贺。
