一、教学目标Aims: 

Ss are able to grasp the new words “rabbit, pet, basket, hold, cage”.

Ss are able to grasp the sentence pattern:

Can I have a ____? Yes, you can. / No, you can’t. 

Ss develop reading skills of collecting information from a passage and speaking skills of introducing their wills. 

Ss know to love our pet and can learn English very happy. 二、教学重点及难点

The new words, and the sentence pattern. 

The pronounce the words: cage, hold;

And the long sentence: Can I have a ____ for my ____? 三、教具准备Materials:

word cards; ppt; a book, etc.

四、教学过程Teaching Steps:

Step 1. Warm -up 1. Greeting T: Class begins! Good morning, boys and girls. I’m your new teacher today.

Sing a song. T: Do you like songs? Let’s sing a song together: Old McDonald Had A Farm

Step 2. Leading-in 1.

T: This song is about animals. What animals can you see? I can see the sheep. How about you?

S1: ... T: We can see so many animals here. Where is it? Ss: At the farm. 2.

T: Now, I have a question for you: where else can see we see so many animals? S1: Zoo. T: Great! Look, so many animals here.
