Unit 3 My collection 教学设计

Vocabulary:seashell, oval , flat ,beach , eager . drill:Look at my collection . Where did you get them ? language skill:Talk about their collections with the brief English . 2.Language skill:

1)能熟练掌握谈论收藏品的相关单词及句型;

2)能运用描述自己的收藏品时涉及到的句型,并在情景中运用以下句型:Some are …. Some are …. I bought / got them in …

3)能用本课所学的知识简单介绍自己的收藏品。

3.feelings:

学生们感受到生活的美好,处处有发现美的眼睛。让学生感受中国传统文化的魅力。

4.学习策略

1)学会观察,对比和归纳知识;

2)积极与他人合作,在合作中提高英语交际能力;

3)积极参与各项比赛活动,体验学习英语的乐趣,提高学习英语的效率

2重点难点

本课的授课对象是小学六年级学生,这一阶段的孩子视觉和听觉的感受能力已发展到一定水平,感知事物的目的性明确,他们的注意力可保持在30分钟左右。思维能力从形象思维逐渐过渡为逻辑思维。可以胜任更加复杂的学习任务。教师设法创设民主、和谐的教学氛围,鼓励他们积极参与到活动中来逐渐模仿大胆开口说英语,并给予他们一定的交流、讨论的时间,充分听取同伴们的意见,增加学习效率. 3教学过程

第一学时

3.1教学目标

知识目标与能力目标: The new words: seashell, oval ,flat, beach and eager to. The drills:“ look at my collection. where did you get them?”

Students can introduce their collections with the brief English .

情感态度与价值观:Ask Ss to search the beauty of the lives and learn to share with others 3.1.2学时重点

To introduce their own collections with the simple English. 3.1.3学时难点

The new words: oval,collection and the phrase “be eager to…”

活动1【导入】warm

up

1、Today ,I bring some pictures for you ,Do you want to know what they are . 2、Show the pictures . T:Please tell me what they are . We saw some coins ,some beautiful stamps...and we call it collection. Today we’ll learn something about collection. “ Look at my collection, they’re stones . I like them very much.”

Look at my hasband’s and guess my daughter’s collection.

活动2【讲授】presentation

T: Have you got your collection ? I know, someone has your own collection, who wants to show us? Ss: This is my collection ... My collection is... 2.

T:Wow ! so beautiful !Where did you get them ? 3.

T: dear children,just now ,we talked about our collection. Our friend Linda and Bob are also talking about collection.Let’s listen whose collection they are talking about ? 4、Listen and answer 1.

Whose collection are they talking about ? 5、Listen again and answer 1.

What ’s Linda’s collection ? 6、T: you ’re wonderful, now let’s look at Linda ’s collection. T shows by describing Linda’s collection 7、Listen to the tapes and answer the questions.

8、Show the pictures and study the new words. 9、 T: What are they? seashell, then show the pictures of seashell .T shows the pictures of seashell asks like who can describe them “some are..”then paste oval and flat on the blackboard . 10、Now, let’s have a practice . T: In our daily life ,there are many things ,some are round ,some are ovel .Can you say ? 11、Where do we usually find the seashell? On the beach . T: In our hometown ,Huludao ,we live near the sea ,in summer ,we often go there and swim,we find the seashells on the beach. Do you love our hometown ?

活动3【活动】practice

1、Read the text and answer the questions

A:Where did Linda get the seashell ? B:Does Bob like seashells ?Why ? 2、Study Be eager to ... 3、Read after the tapes 4、Give the title for the text . Linda’s collection T shows the main drills on the board, asks Ss to retell the text. 5、T shows the picturs and shows the main drills .let the Ss to make the dailogue. about collection. 6.T shows the picturs and shows the main drills make a new dialogue and act it . 7、T: Are you eager to show your collection for us? Ss: yes. T: I’ll give you some minutes to practice ,then we have the collection show.

8、T: Let’s write your collection and show it . 9、T: Today ,we learned Linda’s collection and we talked about our collection. But there is more charming collections Are you eager to look at them ? 10、T: dear friends ,you did a great job. 11、T shows the Chinese traditional collections . 12、 All of you did good job. 13、Homework . To introduce your collections with your parents and your freinds.
