五、教学过程

1. Warm up （1）Greetings. （2）Lead-in 播放英语儿歌Donkey Donkey 小毛驴，并与学生互动：

Which animal can you see in this song? Donkey. Donkey is a kind of animals. I’ll show you another pictures of animals. Let’s have a look.

T shows the pictures and the students call the names of them quickly. Where can we see these animals? At the zoo. What animals do you like best?

Pip went to the zoo. What animals did she see? What happened to

Pip and the animals? Let’s find the answer in Lesson 27 Pip at the zoo.

2.Storytelling （Picture 1）Pip went to the zoo. Pip’s Dad worked in the zoo.

（Picture 2）Pip’s dad was a zoo-keeper. Look! What was he going to do? He was going to feed the animals.

Pip helped her dad.

（Picture 3）They went to the deer. Dad looked after a deer. What did Pip do? Pip gave the deer some food. Look! The deer liked the food.

（Picture 4）They all wanted the food. Whoops! They pushed Pip over. “Oh no!” said Pip.

（Picture 5）Then Pip and her dad went to the monkeys. What did Pip give the monkeys?Some bananas. But what did the monkey do to Pip? Oh no! It took Pip’s hat.

（Picture 6）Pip went to the elephants. There was a big elephant and a baby elephant. Pip gave them some water. But look at the big elephant.

What did it do to Pip? Oh no! It took Pip’s sweets.

（Picture 7）Look! Where was Pip? Pip was at the parrots.

What did Pip give to the parrots? Some fruit. But look at this parrot. What did it do to Pip? Oh no! It pecked Pip’s finger.

（Picture 8）At last, Pip’s dad took Pip to a pond.

What animals were there? Crocodiles. “Do you want to feed the crocodiles?” asked Dad.

（Picture 9）Would Pip feed the crocodiles? No. She thought the crocodiles might eat her.

“No thanks,” said Pip.

3.
