1 Lead-in

S1 introduces today’s timetable. T talks about the ‘Interest activities’

to the ‘clubs’, and show some pictures of TW’s clubs. Then T introduces parts of the classifications of the clubs, and shows Ss that in Unit5 will learn some sports, especially about the ball games. 1 Look and learn TW’s three big ball games. Eg: basketball, football, volleyball T leads Ss to learn them by some oral drills. 2 Ask and answer Q:Do you like playing ... ? A: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t. I like playing ... 3 Let’s learn more T adds some other ball games, and shows Ss that there still have many other ball games. Eg: tennis, table tennis, baseball,

4 Ask and answer Q: Does she / he like playing ...? A: Yes, she / he does.

No, she / he doesn’t. She / He likes playing ... 设计意图

通过U4的科目引出兴趣活动社团，并将社团细化主讲本课时的“球类运动”。

新课导入：通过已学的三大主球运动，引申出在国外很受欢迎的部分其他球类运动，在学习的过程中用本单元的关键句型进行问答练习。
