一、教学目标：

依据本课教材的特点和培养学生听、说、读、写语言能力这个的总体目标的要求，将本课教学目标设计如下：

1.知识目标：能够听、说、读、写本课时的主要单词: rain, windy , cloudy, sunny , snow , weather等和主要句型How's the weather in…? / What’s the weather like ？It’s rainy/ windy…

2.能力目标：

（1）能够听懂录音中的对话并能够很好的完成group work。

（2）通过对本单元的学习，学生能掌握本单元出现的表示天气的形容词；问天气的句式. （3）通过丰富的课堂活动和创造性任务，把所学的语言与学生的生活实际结合起来，培养学生自主学习英语的能力,运用英语分析、解决问题的能力以及交流合作的能力。

3.情感目标：通过学习课文及句型操练，让学生学会谈论世界各大城市的天气状况。

二、教学重、难点

1、重点：

①The vocabulary: rain, windy , cloudy, sunny , snow , weather ②

Target language：How’s the weather like in+ 地点？/ What’s the weather like in+ 地点？

It's raining/ windy…

2、难点：询问天气的两种方式：How’s the weather？What’s the weather like？及对天气的状况的准确描述。

三、教学过程

Step1 warm-up Let’s chant What’s he doing?

He’s walking. What’s she doing?

She’s reading. What’s he doing?

He’s running. What’s she doing?

She’s swimming. What’s Tom doing? He’s sleeping. What’s Jane doing? He’s drawing. What’s Ann doing? She’s drinking. Step 2 Leading in 1）播放英文歌曲视频“How’s the weather?”

并问学生---What is the song about?引入今天新课：---How’s the weather?---It’s raining…

2）learn new words 然后利用PPT图片，呈现不同的天气,学习本课新单词。利用学生手中图片巩固单词，英语接龙游戏。

3）播放幻灯片，进行简短的师生对话引出本课内容。

---What is the picture about? ---It's about weather. 4)教师出示图片让学生来表达图片所示内容，教师以提问的形式和学生一问一答，：

---What's the weather like?---It’s raining.

---How’s the weather?---It’s windy.

以同样的方式提问幻灯片的内容。

5)呈现问天气句型. 6)pair work(利用手里的图片，先同桌问，然后小组问) ---What's the weather like?

---It’s raining.

---How’s the weather?

---It’s windy.

Step4 While-listening （听中活动）

Activity1告诉学生我有个朋友要去Beijing, Shanghai, Moscow, Boston Toronto旅游，让我们帮他探知一下这些地方的天气情况完成1b听力。

①The first Listening: Listen and match the cities with correct weather. ②The second listening ：listen and write these city names in the boxes above. Activity2 展现Beijing, Shanghai, Moscow, Boston Toronto城市天气的图带读单词后学生进行操练如下句型：A：How’s the weather in .../ What’s the weather like in ...? B：Is it windy/…in…?

Step5 Post-listening （听后活动）

Activity1 挑战当一名天气预报员，先在小组练习每小组选出一名预报员进行比赛，让学生模防下列句子（或者可以自由发挥）：

Hello everyone! Here is the weather report. Today is ___. It’s ____in ___ .
