知识与技能目标：

1.能正确使用文中出现的重点词汇any other，miss， wish to do sth等。

2.能准确使用现在进行时谈论人们正在做的事情并能根据语境使用一般现在时和进行时表述现在。

3.能运用阅读技巧—skimmingand scanning找出文章的主要意思和细节信息。

过程与方法目标：

学会边听边做笔记，捕捉关键信息。

能通过参与课堂、完成对话和小组活动等方式完成主动合作和探究式学习。

情感目标：

了解中西方文化的差异及各国之间存在的时差。

教学过程

Step 1

Warming up and leading in

1．T: Let’s do something to relax ourselves.Imagine: you are free today and you and go any place and do anything you like. Now tell me :Where are you ? what are you doing? 2．Look at the clocks and ask students about the time in different places. Then

lead in to the topic of time difference.(Work on 2a) 设计意图：通过学生想象，创设情境。复习现在进行时并为后续语言学习做铺垫。

Step 2

Presentation

1．Show some photos about Dragon Boat Festival and zongzi. Let some students say something they know about the customs of this festival. 2．Watch video---the origin of the dragon boat festival 设计意图:引出dragon boat festival,了解端午节的由来。

Step 3

Reading Listen to the TV report and learn to read it well. 设计意图：引导学生集中精力听并校正单词发音，保证正确阅读。

1.Fast reading Task1: Read the TV report and talk about what the main idea is. 设计意图：通过阅读让学生了解全文大意回头中心思想，为全面深入了解文章做铺垫。

Task2: Find out what each paragraph talk about. 设计意图：布置任务，指导学生快速浏览、略读

，练习使用此阅读方法，快速阅读后完成任务，提高学生阅读能力。

Task3：Read the article and answer the two questions. (1)Why are Zhu Hui's family watching boat races and making zongzi? (2)Does Zhu Hui like his host family? （3）What does he think about his home in China? Students read the article quickly and find the answers to the three questions. Check the answers with the class. 教学反思：本节课是Unit 5 I’m watching TV SectionB第二课时，这几课我感受颇多，受益匪浅。

1.本节课基本完成了教学目标，学生能正确使用文中出现的重点词汇。能准确使用现在进行时谈论人们正在做的事情并能根据语境使用一般现在时和进行时表述现在。

并能运用阅读技巧—skimmingand scanning找出文章的主要意思和细节信息。教学过程中图片和视频调动课堂气氛激发学生学习兴趣。任务学习让学生层层深入了解文章，对阅读有了兴趣。通过视频让学生了解中国传统文化，提升爱国精神。

2.不足之处（1）学生课堂上对核心句型操练少（2）没有在课堂设计写作环节留的作业。

通过与老师们的交流和学习我认识到，精彩高效的课堂不是看PPT的花哨，关键是如何利用启发引导学生，以后争取改进提升自己的教学水平。
