Unit7 What time do you get up?

一、教学目标

(一)语言目标

1.词汇:能听懂、会说、认读新单词timetable, question;能听、说、读、写单词或词组a.m. , p.m. , get up, go to bed.

2.句型:能用“What time do you…”“I… at…”进行对话。

(二)应用目标

1.能听懂,会说A部分的对话。

2.通过调查活动,询问他人的作息情况,并对此询问做出回应。

二、教学重、难点

1、重点:理解并正确运用A部分的对话。

2、难点:理解句子“This timetable is about your day.”的含义。

三、教学准备

单词图片、单词卡片、PPT课件。

四、教学过程

Step1 lead-in

1. Greetings

2. Number Game

T: Now, let’s play a game. Look! Miss Yu will give you numbers. Then you should speak out together. The fast one, I will give him one point. Got it?/ understand?

3. Revision:

PPT展示一些时钟

T: What time is it?

Ss: It’s six/ nine/one o’clock.

Ss: It’s 4:40/9:25/11:45.

Step2 Presentation

1. 老师给出时间,让学生在黑板上画。

Now, listen carefully. I will give you the time, then you draw it.

T: It’s 6:50 o’clock i n the morning. (老师先示范)

T: It’s 9:30 o’clock in the afternoon.

板书中表明:6:50 o’clock in the morning=6:50a.m.

9:30 o’clock in the afternoon=9:30p.m.

a.m. = am = AM(上午)

p.m. = pm =PM(下午)

老师带读,学生跟读,操练几遍

2.老师做起床动作,学生猜。

T: What am I doing?

Ss: 起床?

T: Yes, get up. I get up at 6:50 a.m.

T: get up(老师带读,number3 第三排学生一起读并做起床动作。可多组练习)根据学生表现情况加分。

T: What time do you get up?

Ss: I get up at…(请学生回答)

T: Ok. Next.(老师做睡觉姿势)Goodnight.

Ss: 去睡觉

T: Go to bed. I go to bed at 9:30 p.m.

T: go to bed (老师带读,同上)

T: How about you? What time do you go to bed?

Ss: I go to bed at…(学生回答)

老师PPT展示关于吃早餐的图片。

T: have breakfast

Read after me.

have breakfast (This group. One by one.) Great, Excellent, Perfect, Good job, Very good, Amazing.

T: I have breakfast at 7 o’clock.

T: what time do you have breakfast?

Ss: I have breakfast at…

T: I go home at 4:00 p.m.

带学生一起把刚刚所学的内容读一遍。

Reader after me,

I point, you reader, the best group I will give one point.

4. 要求学生圈出课文中的关键词。现在我们要帮助Lingling做出她的时间表。

Now, turn to page33, read the text, and circle the times. Then I need some students to come here to finish the timetable.

请学生上台将单词卡片贴到黑板上的时间表。

time + table

time means 时间,table means 桌子,and also means 表格,表timetable (number6…)

5. 听录音,跟读课文。

Step3 Review

(1)Look and act

1. T: Now, I need some students to act.

I will show you the time. And you guess which one is the right.

For example, get up(one student to reader) (6:50a.m 6:50p.m)

Others guess.

T: He /She get up at 6:50a.m.

其他词组同上。

Step4 Practice

情景扮演,老师给出PPT情景图片,同学们角色扮演。

Now, let’s role play. Fou r students together? / Four students a group. I give you five minutes. Then which group I will choose one to come here.

Step5 homework.
