Aims:

1.Knowledge Objectives:①Learn the fruit words ‘banana, mango, orange, lemon, pineapple’. ②Learn the new pattern “Is this a …”. ③Be able to read and recite the dialogue.

2.Competence Objectives: Be able to make up a dialogue in real life situations, using the new pattern “Is this a …?”3.Emotion Objectives:Be able to know that eating more fruit is a healthy life style.

4.Learning Strategy Objectives: Be able to know how to recite the dialogue.

1. Be able to know how to recite the dialogue.

2. Be able to make up a dialogue with the sentence pattern “Is this a …”in different situations.

Step 1 leading-in

1.Greetings

2. Warming up: Sing the song “Apple Tree”.

Step 2 Presentation

1、A guessing game

(show the magic box,ask Ss to touch the things in it, and guess what’s in it.)

Step 3 Practice

1、A game:“Fruits Squat”

(Apple down,apple down,apple down then banana down......)

2、To learn “a” and ”an”

(We use”an” before “apple” and “orange”.)
