Teaching aims：

making soup , talking on the phone, exercising and etc. 2. Learn the tense of Present Continuous Tense. 3. Emotional aims：Develop students' interest in learning English, the positive emotions of participating in activities and teamwork spirit.

Teaching process：

Step 1.Warm up: Listen to music named sailing & talk to students. Step 2.Learning design Watch a video and ask the question：What is Suzy doing? -What is he doing? – He is watching TV -What are they doing? – They are watching TV Read them together and role-play the dialogue. Step 3. Pair work(一吐为快)

Make dialogues in pairs and using the following phrases.

A: He/she is ... Step 4. New lesson(Present Continuous Tense) Step 5. Make a conclusion of words. Step 6. Make a conclusion of phrases Step 7. Show time

Play a game together named “ Act and Guess”. What is he/she doing?

Step 8. Magic mouth Stand up and speak the Chinese meaning as quick as you can. Step 9. 1a Match the activities with the pictures.P31 Step 10. Group work（能言快语）

Make dialogues in groups and using the following phrases. A：What are you doing?
