To talk about what people are doing by showing pictures(from the Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf), watching videos(from Douyin, Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf) and learning from a micro-lesson, as well as making dialogues. 3.

1. Greet the Ss

2. Watch a video about the Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf

T: What happened to the sheep in the green grassland?

Ss: They are in trouble. (big big wolf wants to eat them and the Ice Age)

T: Let’s save them from the big big wolf and the nature disaster.Today, we have to pass four rounds to save them. Ⅱ. Round 1: Let’s say

Show some pictures on the big screen. (pictures of the Happy Sheep, Beautiful Sheep, Lazy Sheep, Big Big Wolf...)

e.g. T: What are you doing?

Ss: We are watching TV. (Help him/her to answer)

T: What is the Lazy Sheep doing?

S1: He is reading a book.

Teach: watching TV, cleaning, reading a book, eating dinner, talking on the phone...as the same way.

Ⅲ. Round 2: Let’s play a game (quick response) T: Now let's play a game.

Quick response: If the point points to a certain word or phrase, read it aloud. Consolidate words and expressions: watching TV, reading a book, talking on the phone, washing the dishes, exercising, coming, running... Ⅳ. Round 3: Let’s guess and talk Show some pictures on the big screen. (pictures of some student in C1802) e.g. T: What is he doing? Is he playing?

S1: No, he isn’t. He is cleaning the classroom.(Help him/her to answer) T: What is she doing? Is she calling? S2: No, she isn’t. She is talking on the phone.

(Teach different persons in the same way:the first, second, third person...)

Pair work

Talk about some pictures about what are the people doing in the pictures, and ask Ss to show their dialogues. e.g. T: What is he doing? Is he playing?

S3: No, he isn’t. He is doing the dishes. V. Round 4: Let’s practice

Watch a video. (A micro-lesson given by the “Head of the Sheep Village” and it’s about the present progressive tense)

T: Now, do you know what the present progressive tense is? Make sentences by using the words and expressions we’ve learned today.

e.g. We are having an English class. T: But some sheep they don’t understand the grammar rules, let’s help them.

Choose one sheep you want to help! (Each sheep has a question)

Happy Sheep: 翻译:看！懒洋洋正在吃冰激凌！

Look! The lazy sheep is eating ice-cream.
