Teaching procedure: (1)

Greetings: T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss:

Good morning, Miss Huang. T:Nice to meet you. Ss:

Nice to meet you,too. T:How are you? Ss:I am fine, thank you, and you? T:I am fine,too. Thank you. Sit down,please. T:Let’s recite a chant together.“One little finger.”

Praise those who speaks English well. “Well down”

Revision: T:Let’s review the words we have learned last time. Please look at the screen . Then review the words one by one by use of the sentence pattern. What colour is this ? It’s white/black/red/blue/yellow/green ”

Ask the children to read after me. Then put the word cards on the blackboard. Then spell the words one by one. Play a bomb game with the children. At last play another game with them. Point to the cards as quickly as you can. (3)

Play the computer and ask the children to listen carefully. Then play it again for children to repeat.

Then ask the children to teacher their classmates in the front of the classroom. (5)

T:Let’s play a guessing game. Here is a big bag, What’s in it ? Guess ,please. Then show the children the rabbit, hand ,and bear to the children. And practice the sentence pattern.

Ask them to practice the dialogues by themselves for a few minutes, then encourage them to act out what they said in the front of the classroom. (7)

Ask the children to read a chant by themselves. Colour colour what colour? Yellow yellow It’s yellow. (8)

Have a competition with “Magic eyes” . (9)
