Unit5 Peter is writing
一、教学目标
(一)知识与技能
1.能听懂、会说、会读新单词cook, eat drink, play, sleep,watch 2.能理解“What are they doing ?” They are…或能用具体的人物来作答“He /She is v-ing”. 3.培养学生持续学习英语的兴趣,敢于开口说英语,善于用耳听英语的习惯。
二、教学重点:能听懂、会说、会读新单词cook, eat, drink, play, sleep,并能用“ is doing”描述他人正在做某事。
教学难点:eat, sleep中长元音/i:/的发音;现在进行时态中动词词形的变化,以及ing与动词原形词尾的连读。
三、教学准备
动词及动词词组的卡片、PPT 四、教学过程
Step1. Warm-up 1.Greetings 2.Play a game. I say, you do. T:Stand up, please. T:Sit down, please. T:Sing, dance, read, swim fast, fly, draw, paint, write stop! (锻炼孩子的英语口语,动手协调及反应能力。) Step2 Presentation .
T:What are we doing? Ss: We’re writing
引导学生说出来直接出示本课题OK !Today we are going to learn Unit5 Peter is writing. T:Look! What am I doing ? Do actions. sleep. sleeping I’m
sleeping.
以同样的方式教学cook ,eat, drink, play,watch. 板书:cook
cooking 对比读,注意原形与现在分词的读音。

watching 师生分组读,猜口型读单词,(再让学生比一比,找出现在分词的构成方法)
Step3:Let’s
listen and say. ①T:Where is Peter?(出示PartA图片) Ss: Peter is at home. (听课文录音)打开书,找出现在分词
②Read and answer T:What are they doing? 细读课文,找出答案: is cooking. is sleeping. is reading. is playing.
