1.能用英语表达七月、八月、九月、十月这四个月份及这些月份的天气、节日等信息。2.能用英语询问天气情况，并描述不同地方不同月份的天气情况。

Step 1 Warming up 1.师生互致问候。

2欣赏《粉红小猪》漫画，并提出问题，What ’s the matter with them? Step 2

Revision

1.学生回答问题，同时复习句子：They go for a trip ,and the weather is bad . 2.复习有关天气状况的语言。

（1）教师一边问：“How is the weather today?”一边板书，请学生根据实际回答。

（2）教师和学生chant ，复习sunny, windy, rainy, snowy等单词。

（3）教师出示不同地点的天气图片，请学生根据图片进行对话练习，如：

S1: How is the weather in Lingshan? S2: It’s….

(4)询问学生，国庆节假期有何计划，要注意些什么？

并板书课题：Unit 3 Planning a Trip Part B。

教师说：“National Day is coming. Wang Tao will go to Taiwan. How is the weather in Taiwan? Please watch the video.”

学生听课文录音，找答案

Explaining （1）教师出示句子：It’s hot in July and August. It’s cool in October.并用日历帮助学生理解这两句话的意思。

(2)教师出示单词卡片，学习July, August, September和

October四个单词，板书单词，告诉学生，月份的首字母必须大写。

(3)教师将卡片hot和cool贴在黑板上相应月份的上方，引导学生把当地月份的天气特点来复述句子。

（4）根据学生回答问题，教学新单词：many; thing; Internet; turn on 等。

4.Dill （1）根读课文。听录音读、跟老师读、分角色读。

（2）玩炸弹的游戏

（3）出示四个城市四个月份的天气图，学生小组合作，根据本课所学句型进行大量操练。
