本节课为人教版七年级下册第六单元Section B 2b阅读部分。本节课内容为综合运用部分，本部分的学习对学生综合运用所学知识、提升听、说、写能力和语言综合运用能力起着决定性的作用。但学生对两段文章的理解有一定的难度，需要通过不同形式的教学方式与方法调动学生学习的自主性，突出学习方法的渗透，引领学生通过合作与探究，展示与竞争的方式学会理解文章、学会口语的表达、学会重点词汇的运用。让学生在真实的情景中运用所学的知识，达到学以致用、提升能力、自信学习的目的。

一、语言能力

1. 能理解并掌握目标语言的用法：（in Europe/Canada; have a good time doing sth; be on a vacation; study English; learn a lot,isn’t working...）； 2. 能够通过整体阅读归纳文本题材--postcard 3. 能够通过分层阅读细节阅读获取文本信息
