Step 2 While-reading

Task 1 Skimming Read the article quickly and answer the questions. 1. How many paragraphs does the article have? Number them on your books. 2. What's the main idea of the article? 3. Introduce the reading skill: The title, the first paragraph and the last paragraph can help you to find the main idea. Task 2 Scanning 1.

Read Paragraph 2 carefully and fill in the blanks. 2.

Listen to the whole article and complete the chart. 4.

How to divide the article into “Beginning”

Introduce the writing skill: A good article should have a title and 3 parts. Beginning: Introduce the topic to your readers.

Teaching reflection 在学校“四赛”选拔赛的时候，本节课的思路已经确定下来了。我选择了七年级下册第十单元的阅读。选择这节课的原因是，这篇文章有标题，有工整的总-分-总的结构，不仅可以使学生学会使用阅读技巧，而且对学生的写作思路也会有启发。5月10日进行第一次磨课，由于“无生上课”的可控性强，课程中的问题并未暴露出来，但当学生坐在课堂上是问题就接二连三浮出水面。由于自己对一些环节的不确定和怀疑，一节课下来我自己的心态非常不好，语速快，完全不顾学生反应，只是一个劲地推着课堂流程走，整节课学生很闷，大部分同学跟不上节奏。课后，组内的前辈给了我很多修改建议，下面我对一次磨课的问题进行总结：

1.

语速过快，指令语过长，大部分同学跟不上课堂节奏。

2.

导入时的视频，图片有歧义，不能给学生留下深刻印象。

3.

输入部分不扎实，导致学生在语言输出时效果大打折扣。

4.

板书的词条做得过小，后排同学看不清。整个文章的结构都出现在一块黑板上，显得过密过乱。

5.

在scanning环节，直接让学生填写表格，难度过大。

6.

读后活动的第二个活动，过于空泛，不易操作。

7.

情感升华部分，略显牵强。

8.

作业布置与课程内容的关联性不大。

组内老师们在提出这些问题的同时，给了我相应的解决方案。

自己心中对一些环节的疑惑也迎刃而解。

通过这次开放日的锻炼，我深刻认识到磨课的重要性。一节好课绝对是经过千锤百炼，反复雕琢才能呈现的。感谢师父和全体英语组老师对我的帮助和指导。接下来，我要提高自己的理论水平，多读英语教学的专业书籍，将理论与实践相结合，提高自己的教学水平。
